It is secure even with a table riser, two monitors off the table, saves a lot of space. All this is great however I ordered LCD-MDA-002 not 001. Amazon claim its the same thing, ViewSonic say differently.

As the picture shows, this pair of mounting arms are holding two 24" monitors. They were easy to assemble. They come with hardware to clamp them onto a desk or table two ways, either using a clamp that hooks over the edge or a clamp that works through an access hole, as the setup in the picture shows. Very clean design, I have had a few guests who entered my office and commented on the mounting arms straight away. There are adjustments to vary the tension so the placement stays put, I have not had to monkey with any adjustments, they hold the monitors fine, even when I make changes to the orientation or placement. The menu said it came in with the small M3 Hex Key Driver but it wasn't included. The mount can not hold my two 24 inches monitors. The arm looks sturdy but unfortunately, I received a defective one.

1 month in and sadly broke, whilst adjusting my monitor position I heard a click and then one of the two black parts fell off and my monitor almost slammed against the table. Tried putting it back together but so far hasn't worked.
