The MW340B2 is a low profile full motion TV wall mount. Made to be mounted into double studded walls for extra rigidity, two articulating arms added strength to safely support today’s newer, thinner TV. Designed for TV with 100 x 100mm to 400 x 400mm mounting hole pattern, and the mount holds up to 100 lbs, mounting to 16” dual stud, single stud or solid wall.The MW340B2 low profiles mount with a flat depth of only 2.3 inches, you will have a very sleek, against the wall design. It also can extend out 14” for easy access, swivel and tilt to give any seat in the house the perfect viewing angle. Notice: This mount fits most 32-65 inch TVs (VESA hole patterns from 100x100 mm (4x4") to 400x400mm (16x16") ), do not work for some old size 50-65 inch TVs manufactured before 2013.

I've had my Vizio 3D 47" LED TV for about three years now. My TV weighs 51.8 pounds. This is my 3rd mount (haha). The first mount I got was from Sam's Club and was supposed to be designed for flat screens that were up to 47". But it was terribly weak, and you could see the tube steel actually warp a bit when moving it. Then I got another one here on Amazon (Mount-It! Vizio Compatible Swivel TV Mount) but after 6 months, it began to come apart. Although it never dropped the TV, it was pretty close to doing so. This one had great reviews, so I thought I would try it. My complete review is below .... 1) Strong for the size. Its about half the weight of other heavy duty adjustable mounts that I have purchased on Amazon before. Yet its strong and doesn't warp or bend when articulating from side to side. I am very impressed with it. 5 of 5 stars 2) Tilt Adjustment. The tilt adjustment, which angles the top down or up, is quite good. It uses a flip up lever and when you push down, it clamps it firm. Others use a screw knob which is much more difficult. 5 of 5 stars 3) No Level. This unit does not come with a built in level, but I just used my own. 4 of 5 stars 4) Small Base. As others have said, this unit has a small foot print and could make it difficult to mount in the correct room position. Fortunately for me, the mounting stud is at the center of where I mount the TV. 3 of 5 stars 5) Right and left articulating swing angle. This type of mount is good because it provides and right and left articulating swing angle. My eating table is a raised bar height table to the left of the TV. The swing angle allows me to swing the TV over to the table when I am enjoying a meal. However, when I am cooking in the kitchen, I need to swing it to the opposite side. The angle is not quite as high as others because the articulating frame is not as long as other mounts do because of its size. But it still works for me and should for most people. 5 of 5 stars 6) Overall Design. I like the way the bolts, especially for the articulating swing mechanism, are easily accessible. This allows for an easy visual inspection to see if the bolts are tight. Other mounts have the bolts hidden and can't be adjusted or tightened which could cause the TV to fall if they become loose. 5 of 5 stars 7) Level when articulating to the left or right. As others have mentioned, nearly all these types of mounts to tend to warp a bit when articulating to the extreme left or right. However, because this works well with my heavy 47" TV weighing at 51.8 lbs, it does not warp and therefore the level does not need to be readjusted every time I swing to the right or left. I would say if you have a heavier or larger TV, that might be a problem with this particular mount. The last mount I purchased did have a better mechanism for leveling after articulating - You just leveled the TV with your hands. So, therefore I would be cautious when using anything above a 50" TV if you didn't want to mess with the level every time you articulated to the left or right. Again, I am pleasantly surprised how well it does with my 51.8 lb Vizio 47" TV. 8) Ease of mounting. I was able to do mount the frame to the wall, and mount the TV to the frame by myself. Two people would be better, especially if you have a heavier TV. 5 of 5 stars 9) Smooth Operation. The articulating frame is extremely smooth and it doesn't take very much effort to return the TV to the center position. Its much smoother than the other mounts I have owned. 5 of 5 stars As others have said, this is a very good mount and strangely strong for how light it is. I have no problem recommending it for flat screens that are heavy up to 47" in size. My previous mount that this one replaced was listed as "Mount-It! Vizio Compatible Swivel TV Mount for 32-60" Plasma & LCD". I would not recommend it because the articulating bolts came loose and there was no way to tighten them. I fully recommend this mount

This VideoSecu TV Wall Mount is fairly easy to setup (with an extra set of hands), provides tilt and swivel functionality, and is also a great value. Here are my observations: Needed for standard wall mounting, but not included; Stud Finder, Drill, 7/32 Drill Bit, Hex Wrench Set, Socket Set or Adjustable Wrench, and a Philips Head Screwdriver Pros- + Strong; easily supports my 36-pound TV + Easy Setup; with my teen son's help, we had this up on the wall and the TV mounted in well under 30 minutes + Adjustable; allows TV to pull away from the wall, swivel to the left and right, and tilt up and down + Hardware; comes with all the mounting hardware likely to be needed + HDMI Cable; includes a good quality 10' HDMI cable Cons- + Tricky Tilt Adjustment; to get the final leveling after the TV is mounted, it may be required to adjust two screws with a Hex Wrench This is much better quality than expected for the relatively low cost of this sturdy and well made mount. Highly Recommended! CFH

I purchased this mount after my TV got the screen broken by one of my grandchildren. Upon arrival I opened the box to find that it comes already assembled so all I had to do was find the studs, mark them, drill two level holes and place the mount on the wall. I then drilled the two lower holes to put in the bottom bolts. The TV hangs on the mount (so to speak), this requires two people to do. I placed the 42" screen TV on the mount and tightened the set screws to hold it in place. Screws and bolts to hang the mount and attach the TV are nicely packaged and it comes with directions. All together this took less than a half hour. The mount allows you to move the TV left, right, up, down and twist the screen to get it level. It is very sturdy and adjustments are smooth and easy. In all it is a very nice mount and it comes with a heavy duty HDMI cable. The only cons I can think of is that it did not come with wire ties to hold the cables together but they are low priced and can be purchased any where. I highly recommend this mount.

After a previous failed attempt to hang my 35 lb. 40" Toshiba TV with a single arm articulating mount (the previous mount bent catastrophically), I decided it was time to spend a little more for something with two arms. Upon first opening the box, I was impressed with how sturdy the entire thing feels and thankful for rather straightforward instructions. I unfortunately didn't measure the studs prior to purchase, and only after I began planning where to hang this mount did I discover my apartment has 24" studs instead of the 16" studs this was designed for. After a quick trip to Lowe's, I attached two 2x4s to my 24" studs, and then used these to attach the mount to the wall. Including my modification time, it took about 45 minutes to set everything up on my own. The bolts provided to secure the mount to the wall are a little tricky to ratchet in, especially as you try and hold the mount level with your pre-drilled holes. I would suggest having another person help you attach the mount to the wall. I would NOT suggest using the included wall fixing screws/anchors! Mounting your precious TV on drywall anchors is a recipe for disaster, especially with the cheap anchors they include. Make sure you find a way to hang this mount on studs, or 2x4s as I did if there aren't studs where you want to mount the TV. You can always paint over the 2x4s to blend in with the wall, but honestly, the TV will cover them and you'll never notice them either way. They provide a myriad of screws to mount the TV to the TV plate, however, make sure you are orienting the plate correctly. The instructions aren't the clearest here, and I accidentally mounted it upside down (although it was quick to rearrange the proper way once I realized the mistake). The side adjustment screws that tilt the TV either forwards or backwards are a little loose, and it appears they can't be tightened (on each side, there is a quick release handle and a set of screws to adjust the tilt; the quick release is very tight, the bottom screws are not...maybe this is how it was designed?). I'll report back if I can figure out how to further tighten them, or if it doesn't affect the mount's performance. Overall, it's a great mount for the price ($40 when I purchased, delivered same day for free). If you adequately plan out the location of the mount, and have help assembling the thing, I think you will be very pleased with this product.

Bought this mount for a 42" RCA LCD TV that I have had since 2008. I flipped through the instructions and got started. Attached the brackets to the mounting holes on the back of the TV, removed the stand, and quickly realized that the mounting holes on the back of my tv were too far apart (see first and second pictures). With that TV being pretty dated anyway, I decided to post it for sale and head down to the store for a new TV. I was determined to get this mount to work. I noticed that the mounting holes on all new TVs are much closer together than my old RCA's making them a perfect fir for this mount. I found a good deal on a 42" Insignia LED TV with a much nicer picture than the old RCA had, so it was an easy purchase to justify. The new TV fit perfectly on the mount and within minutes, I had it mounted on the wall- installation couldn't be easier and the package comes with everything you need except a drill and bit driver. I'm using this wall mount in my computer room/lounge to hold the 42" Insignia mentioned above. The TV is primarily used as a mirrored display from my primary PC monitor but I also have a satellite TV receiver hooked up to it. The TV is generally pointed toward my desk, but I love the ease of adjustment when I have company and want the screen to be more visible from the lounge section of the room. Same caveat as others.. get your own lag bolts. My house is mostly bricked but a couple of areas (including where I used this mount) has some masonite siding used. From a previous repair job on another area of the house with this siding I already know that underneath the siding is a layer of Dow Corning pink foam board for insulation, so between the siding (~1/2" thick) and the insulation board (~3/4" thick) you're losing around 1-1/4" of the bolts length to passing through stuff that won't bear a load. In my case the 2" lag bolts provided would only have been getting ~3/4" of stud wood. That 'might' be enough to be honest, but I really think you should have at least 1" of thread going into solid stud/lumber material. I bought some 2-1/2" lag bolts and even with the layer of plywood under the pink foam board I'm pretty sure I'll be getting an inch of the bolt into solid material strong enough to hold a load like a TV. An easy way to check how deep the stud is would be to tap a slender nail into the side of the house where you're planning on putting the lag bolt until it hits solid stud material (you'll know... the hammering gets a lot more 'firm' sounding and feeling). Measure how much nail is left sticking out, pull the nail back out and subract that length from the full length of the nail and that's how far down your load supporting material is. As for the bracket, nice and solid.. no regrets. Good luck!!

I went all over the place looking for a tv mount and they are all over $80. This one is the best quality for the best price. I was a bit skeptical at first because it was not through a thirty party seller rather than amazon.com and it did not have any reviews but I am so glad I took the risk. It has two arms and it comes out very far. It tilts, moves sideways, pretty much adjustable in all directions. Plus, it was easy installing this because there were a lot of hole positions for the studs on your wall. Also, I've never installed a TV mount on a wall before and I found the instructions very easy to follow. I was also happy to have received all the screws and bolts! Sometimes, companies cheap out on that or leave or skip a screw, but to my surprise, this even came with a few extras. My studs were pretty far apart and this offered multiple placements for the screws. GREAT Purchase!

I don't need to move my TV, but the design makes installing cables much easier, and makes the installation seem more secure than a single stud bracket mount. Read a few reviews of another mount that had broken spacers in the articulating arms. I haven't had this problem with this mount (although I have probably only moved it 4-5 times and fairly gingerly when I do). I have a Plasma 42" TV that uses 400x400 mounting and weighs about 45 lbs. This is about 10lbs more that most 55" LED flat screens I'm currently looking at to replace this TV. The studs in my living room wall were 16" center to center. This maxes out this wall bracket. There are adjustments you can make to the mount to obtain a level TV but as long as you install the wall bracket level the rest of the installation is very easy, except for carefully placing the TV on the bracket. Get a friend to help and don't let your fingers grip the screen (I've seen several TV's with dead areas in the corners broken this way). I spent the most time verifying that I had found the edges of the two studs (basic stud finder) and that the top holes were going to be level (yard stick and level). Also if you have 400x400 spacing on your TV you have no additional vertical adjustment you'll have to check and double check the distance from the top of your media cabinet and center channel speaker to the center of the mounts on the TV to figure out at a minimum how high the center of the mount should be to clear the speaker. I placed the TV a little high because of the clearance I needed so I may opt for a shorter Center Channel speaker to bring the seated eye level of the 55" TV I get to about 1/3 the way up the TV. Can't imagine always watching a TV above a fireplace unless I was laid back on a recliner. For installing the bolts that go into the wall bracket, a drill for making the pilot holes and socket wrench set are useful. I have snapped off similar diameter lag bolts in studs even in properly prepped holes. Not something you want to have happen in this location/height specific install so not forcing the bolt while also obtaining a snug/tight install is important. I drill the pilot hole 1/4"-1/2" deeper than the screw length and wax the screw threads with candle wax. If it starts squeaking going in just back it out, insert a small diameter rod like a screwdriver to make sure the hole that was drilled was deep enough, vacuum out the wood shavings created by screwing in the bolt, and you shouldn't have a problem.
