This is a good budget camera for recreational purposes. I like the easy to navigate on screen menu. It allows basic editing movie size, resolution, lightness balance and steadiness. The camera kit comes with USB, HDMI, Audio/v cables, and a remote control. I plan to use this camera to document the daily playful activities of my dog, it can be used on a tripod or hand-held. It comes with a multi-language user manual and 25 pages are in English. Screen menu also has a language selection. It's almost 10 days since I bought this. I found this very useful for my You tube video making. Video/Photo clarity is good enough, battery backup is also good.

    • Poor video quality, poor audio, low frame rate. Don't trust the positive reviews.
If you're looking for a low cost video camera this isn't it. The positive reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. Yes, the price is low but it's not inexpensive and there are better options available for a bit less. The first thing working against this camera is the frame rate which comes in at just 15fps. Movies are shot at 24fps, budget video cameras offer a minimum of 30fps. 15fps essentially ensures recordings that are jerky and basically unwatchable if the camera isn't stationary (and if the camera is stationary moving objects will appear jerky). The zoom function is digital, not optical so if you zoom the image will be very pixelated. Audio sounds muffled but is a bit better than what one might expect. That said, it isn't great. I actually purchased this for my 8 year old because he loves to make little videos. This was perfect for him and he has enjoyed the ease of use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is because I have not tried it out myself. It seems sturdy, and easy enough to use. I also cannot comment on picture quality, but the zoom feature is smooth, the remote works great, the price was right, and my son has enjoyed using it. I would recommend! ... show more

I was looking into camcorders and most known brands were overpriced. This one looks nice, delivers what I needed and still was within my price range. The design is user friendly and resembles the famous brands. I had no issue with the performance and I'm happy with my purchase.
