  • Victrola turntable
Color: Silver
Great turntable for getting back into vinyl records.

  • A Wonderful Inexpensive Turntable
Color: Silver
I wanted to avoid the suitcase turntables with the non removable needles. Needed an entey level turntable that I could change the needle on (even upgrade), could plug into a number of sources and was quality. This table ticked all the boxes. It was pretty well balanced in terms of needle weight and speed out of the box and it's been a joy to own. ... show more

  • Fiber glass
Color: Silver
I’ve had the record player since April but haven’t been able to use it because I had no speakers (I do now) The black slip mat has thin fibers (fiber glass) on it which can definitely ruin my records.

  • I was impressed with the sound!
Color: Silver
The turntable is light, since the casing is made of plastic. Instead of having a level to raise the arm, it has a button. The needle is Audio Technica. It's a simple model, but I was impressed with the sound. It reproduces a loud and clear sound, exceeding my expectations. I bought it as a gift for my mom, so that she could listen to the records that she hadn't listened to for about 30 years but she still has. She is very happy with her turntable. ... show more

  • Its okay
Color: Silver
There definitely are better record players, especially in that price range. But it doesn’t really try to compete with other brands with its lack of features.

  • Insane value for the price.
Color: Silver
Easy setup although you have to provide your own rca cables. Slipmat included is great, did play a bit faster than it should've but this problem was easily solved via the speed adjustment screws on the bottom. Amazing needle, great sound quality.

  • NOVICE TURNTABLE... My Second Review on the VPRO3100. Suspect Design Defect in Tonearm
Color: Black
Essentially it's mechanically similar to the Audio Technica, Teac, Onn, and Crosley T400. Sound quality is good, as it features the reasonably good, albeit rather ubiquitous AT3600L magnetic cartridge. Very light in weight, mostly due to the plastic platter. The plastic platter is going to affect speed stability... You know long held notes in music will have some audible WOW! But, the really serious problem, and I have now been able to test two units with exact same defect. There is serious audible distortion during playback. This defect is not in the cartridge or stylus. It seems to be the way the tonearm tracks the grove. This table comes with the ever popular AT3600L cartridge pre installed. Other budget turntables I have tried, with the same cartridge, exhibit no such distortion when playing back the same passage on the same record. I dont the think it's the vertical tracking force, perhaps something to due with the factory preset anti-skate. Who knows? Since I suspect every unit has the same problem, it's a definite no deal on this unit. Note: Many users will probably not hear any problem with the sound, as it would only be heard on passages with higher volume and or content detail... It's a shame, as this would be a killer deal if it worked properly, that is if the purchase price could be kept down to around $39.00 or less. further investigation and testing also revealed these concerns. Speed was bad as it was way too slow. With the dust cover down during playback, the tonearm headshell will make firm contact with the inside of the dust cover and it will leave a crescent shaped scratch inside the clear plastic when the automatic stop is actuated. So you should only lower the top, when not in use. On the positve it seems to be a very attractive looking with a low profile, a nice rubber Platter Mat. Headshell appears to allow cartridge change outs. Has what appears to be a very heavy, albeit fixed, counterweight on the end of the tonearm. Has built in Preamp, which unfortunately cannot be switched off. Note: Does not come with RCA cables, but does include a USB cable. Further thoughts: Jan 2023. This item appears to be currently in closeout at $49. It puzzles me how Victrola can get a product so wrong!? This product is exceptionally awful. This is supposed to be an entry level hi-fi turntable. It is woefully inadequate for the task. I would speculate that these units were designed and manufactured with no eye for details or any significant functional review…And it shows. Let me say with certainty, that this should only be purchased for display purposes, as actual use will be a disappointment. Why Victrola would purposely sell a product that will most certainly harm the brand’s integrity down the road, defies explanation. Whoever pulled the trigger on the release of this sad product is in my opinion incompetent , and quite simply not up to the task. If you're stuck with one, I suppose you could remove the AT300 Cartridge, and transplant it into a good used turntable that features a similar headshell. ... show more
