  • Empire Victrola is awesome! Great size, system and sound!
Color: Espresso
If you are looking for an all inclusive record player for your treasured albums, CDs, cassette tapes, and Bluetooth, aux and FM radio..look no further! I have had big set ups with the main turntable tower with the huge speaker towers too and for their time they were the set up, but this Empire is much nicer and takes up a lot less space. It’s just right in size at 19” wide x 15” deep x 8” tall. I am very happy with the sound. CDs sound great. Albums are rich in sound as well. I bought the black and gold model and it looks very attractive. I think you will be very happy with this multimedia center. ... show more

  • We LOVE this
Color: Espresso
We got this to go with our new credenza and it fit perfectly. Cannot comment on the vinyl record player as we haven’t tried that function. Our primary use is Bluetooth and CD player, both of which worked without issue. Pleased with the sound quality, volume level, and appearance.

  • Perfect
Color: Espresso
I absolutely am in love with with this. There are so many different ways to listen to music with this and I’m always connecting my Bluetooth so the music sounds so crisp and the sound/volume capacity is perfect. Cant wait to buy more vinyls to play those as well.

  • Beautiful Machine, Poor Mechanics
Hello! My dad passed away recently and I found myself inheriting his vinyl collection. The reason I gravitated toward the Victrola brand was because he also had an original model antique Victrola (with a hand crank, not a plug!), but that was much too big to bring into my apartment at college. I also had recently been looking to upgrade from my tiny waterproof bluetooth speaker to something a bit more substantial, so I ordered this. Overall, it's treated me well, but I had a couple issues. Let's get into it! Appearance: 4/5 This is a beautiful machine! I got mine in espresso to match my furniture, and I couldn't be more happy with the knobs, lights, or display. Everything from the outside looks very clean and high quality, as long as you don't look too close. The mechanics on the inside (the knobs and switches for vinyl) are plastic and feel a little cheap. Additionally, the wood is only paneling, and underneath the plastic faux grain is a lightweight wood composite. I was kinda bummed when I opened the box, but overall, not bad! Sound: 4/5 When playing anything, vinyl or otherwise, the speakers produce a warm, rich treble and patchy bass. As an R&B lover, I was slightly disappointed with that. However, the speakers pack a lot of volume. The sound this machine produces fills my apartment at quarter volume, which impressed me a lot for the size. The bass issue could easily be combatted by getting a set of bookshelf speakers, which I might do when I move somewhere bigger. Mechanics: 3/5 Earlier I touched on the fact that the mechanics on the inside of the machine seemed cheap. At first, the machine worked like a dream and played all my dad's old records just as well as I remembered them. After I'd had it for a couple weeks with daily use, I purchased a few new vinyls. When I played a new one, after a few seconds, the arm started to skip around! I had no idea what was going on, but after some googling, I found that the arm needed to be balanced (set to a heavier weight so that the needle would sit in the grooves and not jump around), however, this machine doesn't allow the player to balance the tone arm. After some more googling, I found out that many audiophiles put Victrola in the Crosley category of poor quality and cheap mechanics. Devastated that I'd spent so much money on a subpar record player and had already thrown away the box and receipts, I did what any poor college student would do: stacked two nickels on the arm. It played the new record like a dream! I did end up covering the nickels in some black electrical tape so they wouldn't stick out against the other parts. I'm still very sad I spent so much money on this for it to have such a big design flaw, but fortunately, it had a simple and quick fix. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this product. I love the way it looks and I love playing my dad's old records. I wish I'd done more research instead of just buying what looked cool and shiny, but that's what I get for jumping on the vinyl bandwagon so last-minute. TO SUMMARIZE: If you're young and cheap and want a record player (and have some nickels handy), buy this! If you're an experience audiophile, keep looking. ... show more

  • Read carefully! Buy directly from Victrola, NOT Amazon!
Color: Espresso
Bought this for my dad for Father's Day. The sound is excellent, especially since he is hard of hearing. The record table looked really loose with a large gap, but still played once you figured out how. The knobs and dials are pretty cheap feeling, but whatever, we love the overall look. HOWEVER, the CD player did not work. I called Amazon support and I don't know if the rep had no idea what a record or a CD is...but I repeated multiped times that the record plays perfectly and the CD doesn't work, but their troubleshooting idea (even after consulting with a manager) was to "check the belt for why the table won't turn". I never said that the table wouldn't turn and had to explain yet again that the turntable/record works and CD's are digital...and do not need a belt to work! Then the rep tells me that this item was discontinued and I purchased a refurbished "Used-Good condition" item. I would never have purchased that and was looking very closely to make sure I got a new item when I purchased because I didn't want something refurbished. When I became irate, he then said he could offer me a full refund which should post to my card in 3-5 business days and I could drop off the return at UPS. I informed him I no longer had the original packaging so I asked that the instructions be for UPS to package. He confirmed all of these things would happen. After the call, my QR code states that *I* must package and label the item and that a refund would be issued when they receive it. I then came back to this page, where lo and behold, a bunch of the item were in stock...BRAND NEW! I had paid $99.00 at the time for mine, and now they are charging $165! For something that was supposedly discontinued and used/refurbished only. I then went to Victrola's website, and the very first image on the page is this item, on sale for $129. and for first time customers, a 10% discount. I was able to purchase a BRAND NEW item from the manufacturer for $125. Be careful what you buy and when you have the chance to purchase direct from the company, do it! Amazon will cheat you where it can. ... show more

  • Good all round record player
Color: Espresso
I’m actually impressed with this all in one. I was worried it would not have a good sound quality. However for as compact as it is, I was pleasantly surprised.
