  • Best aftermarket controller out there.
Color: Black
This thing is fantastically accurate. The customization and button mapping is usually found on controllers for three times the price. If you’re holding out and not pulling the trigger, you’re doing yourself a disservice. The only con for me is that it’s a wired controller. The long cable makes it easy to move. ... show more

  • Great controller for shooters
Color: Black
Was a little iffy about buying this controller because of some of the reviews. This controller is very lightweight I seen a lot of people saying that as a negative I actually like it more than heavier controllers I have used in the past. Really like the trigger stops it makes my reaction time a lot faster on shooters. Sometimes I will accidentally ads when I’m not trying because it is so sensitive so took a little getting use to that. I have had problems with thrustmaster and Microsoft having stick drift very quickly. I have only been using the Victrix for a week or two but have had no drifting issues and have been able to keep deadzones on lower settings. The victrix app is kind of annoying to get use to because you have to adjust your volumes in that but not bad once you figure it out. Kontrol freaks fit good on the right stick but on the left stick I had to sand paper the plastic edges on the kontrol freak so it wouldn’t rub on the victrix. Great controller so far for shooters like R6 and COD would recommend giving it a try. Possibly the best controller I have used. ... show more

  • A version of my daily driver with no frills
Color: Black
So I am a controller collector. Everything from Astro, Turtle Bea streetch, PDP, PowerA, Razer, Hex youGaming, Battle Beaver, RIG, GameSir, SMX, Gulikit, 8BitDo, to off brand white-labeled, to first party MS/SONY/Nintendo. My favorites have become those with functional back buttons with longer analog stick options have grown to be my favorite. All that being said, the PDP Vitrix series is my go to. Great price. Tons of customization options. Reliable controller. With the ability to calibrate and update firmware if necessary. This installment in the series is what I would call the ramped down version. Essentially identical to the original Gambit, but no case and only one face plate. Everything else is near identical... The button assigning process... the component swapping process... The only odd thing you will need to know about is if you are using it on a PC, you will have to hit the X/Home/middle button to power it on. I had the thing plugged in and couldn't figure how to turn it on until I hit every button and finally realized it. HIGHLY recommend this beast of an entry level competitive controller... Especially under $75 brand new! ... show more

  • Not what it claims to be.
Color: Black
This controller claims it's the fastest out there for xbox consoles but that is a false claim. This controllers input speed is outclassed by the Gamesir controller and also the victrix is more expensive and feels cheap in your hands. The plastic feels weak and cheap. 0/10 wish I never bought.

  • A bit pricey
Color: Black
Not the worst controller but it definitely doesn't feel premium, or worthy of its price. It's a very lightweight and cheap feeling plastic, which I guess the lightweight could be a benefit but it is an odd combination that leaves you feeling like you're holding a controller you found in a clearance bin. I originally picked this up because my Xbox Elite controller had a notorious bumper issue but I ended up ordering a replacement board and fixing the Elite myself, rendering this thing almost entirely uses other than a backup. The Xbox navigation buttons on it are pretty awkward and when you lock the trigger range down it isn't really doesn't feel well defined. Also the trigger pads are wide and although I would have assumed that would make for a better experience the angle and shape of them just makes it feel bizarre. I literally had misfires not realizing I was applying pressure to the side of the triggers.. Perhaps if I didn't have the Elite controller setting the bar for comfort and layout this would have been a bit more acceptable but for the price it's a pass, I just forgot to return it in the window of time I had so it'll serve as a backup when the Elite is charging. ... show more

  • Great comfortable controller
Color: Black
I just picked up the Gambit Prime because my off brand controller died after a few years of use. I tried replacing it with one of those "submarine controllers" from logitech and hated how plastic and cheap it felt in my hands. Enter the Gambit Prime. Now, I know this is a controller mostly aimed for people who play FPS games but as someone who mainly plays lengthy CRPGs this thing is a treat. It sits comfortably in my (small/medium sized) hands and the buttons feel satisfying. The extra switches on the back (you can swap out the back plate very easily for either two or four back switches) are awesome for mapping stuff like healing spells and potions from my hotbar. The joysticks glide like a dream and feel smooth and the controller has a nice weight to it -- obviously it won't be as heavy as it's wireless brother given the lack of extra components, but it still feels good to hold in your hands. I really only have two gripes about this controller -- one, it looks like it forces you to use it's lengthy 3m cable to connect to your laptop. I tried connecting one of my own shorter USB C cables and the controller wouldn't power on. Not a big deal if you're mostly a console player but it can get a bit tangly when connected to the PC. The other thing, is while the controller is comfortable and has nice grips/texture on the front, this doesn't extend to the back of the controller. I wish Victrix sold more custom backplates for this controller separately as I would definitely buy one with more of a textured grip. ... show more
