I'm 45, and I've had a issues with my back since I was 19. I slouch often due to the pain in my lumbar spine from dislocated discs and because of the counterweight from my size DD chest. I'm on pain management, so I've been prescribed a couple of types of braces. Once, I was prescribed a clavicle brace, which was awkwardly uncomfortable. It was 100% unbeneficial and did not work at all. Not to mention, the design was not very intuitive, and I could not even put it on by myself. A few years later, I was prescribed a $1500 back brace, which also did not work. I could put it on myself and it was more comfortable than the clavicle brace, but no matter where I positioned it or how tight I made it, it provided absolutely no support. The other day, I began reading a lot of Amazon reviews, looking for some sort of back brace to help my posture which would help elevate some of the pain in my back. I'm on enough pain pills and pain patches to kill a horse, yet I still have pain. Instead of increasing my doses, I was hoping there was something else I could try - a last ditch effort before asking my doctor to increase my pain meds. This back brace is great! It is not as constricting or as uncomfortable as the two prescribed braces I've owned. It holds my posture upright and is easy to put on and easy to adjust. The material is soft and smooth, which helps tremendously with the comfort. I am so thankful for this back brace! It does hurt a little bit (more like 'sore' than 'hurt', I suppose) around the front of the underarm area (the area where the brace goes underneath your arm), but it helps if you wear a shirt with sleeves underneath the brace. With any device that is pulling on your body, it is going to 'dig' into your skin a little and cause soreness, so I'm not surprised by the 'digging' sensation. It's not enough to bother me or to make me want to return it, especially with a shirt on underneath the brace. A shirt makes the soreness almost nonexistent. In the end, the brace definitely does its job, and it does it well - a lot better than the expensive, prescription braces I've owned. Overall, I am very satisfied and very pleased with this brace. If something were to happen to it, like if I left it on vacation or something, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat!

The media could not be loaded. I have ME/CFS (fibromyalgia) and see a lot of drs for pain, especially back pain. I’m a grad student and spend a lot of my time hunched over the computer, even more after COVID hit a few years ago, and have suffered from a lot of back pain from sitting improperly from most of the day. After shopping around for posture correctors, I decided that this one by Vicorrect would be the most comfortable and effective option. Putting it on was very simple and I noticed it working strengthening my deltoids the first time I wore it. It’s become easier to wear over time, and feels very comfortable. I wear it over clothes at home, and it hasn’t bothered my armpits or pinched at all. I’ve been noticing myself correcting my posture when it’s not on, which is something I hadn’t done before. When I put it on for the first time I was like, “Oh, this is how my back is supposed to be? I’ve been standing/sitting wrong the whole time!” It’s something I couldn’t have done for myself until I felt what correct posture was like. Since I’ve been wearing it I’ve noticed less pack pain during the day and less stiffness/soreness when waking up, which gives me a lot more energy!! It hasn’t fixed all my pain problems but it’s improved them a lot, enough that I’d give it 5 stars all around!

It’s very comfortable and a no brainer product to figure out. I didn’t have to adjust anything. I’m 158 lbs and ordered the S/M. I have upper and mid back pain made worse on the treadmill. I can put this on (over my clothes) and walk easily for 1 1/2 hours no problem the first day. I’m over 60. It’s not super supportive, like you wouldn’t want to lift heavy boxes or anything like that and expect support, but it does remind you to stand up straight.

Overall the product does what it says, helps with posture. I purchased because I tried a friend's product that was similar but different design--kind of like a butterfly shape with thick straps that pull the shoulders back. The one I tried on was a man's size that I wore over a sweatshirt. For reference I am 5'6" and 140lb, 34 C bra size and I ordered a S/M. My main problem with posture seems to be hunching my shoulders forward. This product accomplishes that to an extent, but with sacrifices to comfort. The straps are more thin and pliable, which make it more difficult to pull the shoulders back. So to compensate I adjust the straps to be tighter, which then make my armpits uncomfortable. I absolutely didn't like it while wearing a bra, as it pushed it into my skin too much. It was more comfortable with no bra, a tshirt and light sweater. So I wouldn't wear it under clothes to an office. I will probably continue to wear it for shorter periods of time than I intended, but wish I had chose a differently designed product.

I’ve been using this posture corrector for a couple weeks now and I absolutely love it. It’s functional and comfortable and I don’t have any neck or shoulder pain after 8 hours hunched in front of a computer screen every day. I love the ability to adjust and I would recommend this to everyone
