  • Great sticks
These are great sticks for lighter playing styles 👌 However due to the layered type finish if you play heavy music fge sweat will make them a bit slippery. Overall these are great sticks

  • My Favorite Drumsticks!!
My favorite sticks, and the only ones that could've ever replaced the original Dave Weckl drumsticks that I swore by for years! Thanks to the modified 5A profile with unique tear drop tip, they offer the perfect weight and feel while producing a crisp and clear sound. Whether you're playing light or heavy, they articulate beautifully on cymbals and drums alike, giving a consistent, dynamic sound all across the kit. Ideal for drummers looking for a versatile pair of drumsticks that feel great and sound even better! ... show more

  • Nice Sticks
Look great. Nicely balanced and matched to each other. I like the shape of the tip for hitting snare and toms. Kind of a neutral weight like a ProMark rebound but lighter than the Firebrand (my usual stick). Bought it for the color but works great.

  • Upgrade from the Maroon predecessor. Great for all-around playing
Dave Weckl is a jazz fusion drummer, and based on the tip of this stick, you could classify it as such. However, I like this stick for all-around use. I used to use his old maroon ones a lot because I found a bag with 10 pairs for $10 and they are super durable. I don't think I've broken one yet, and I've broken a LOT of drumsticks. This new Evolution stick is even better than is last signature stick. It's almost the same, but this one is slightly shorter than the Maroon predecessor. I like that a lot. I never realized that the maroon stick was actually really long, making it a great rock-style stick, but if you want to play more controlled, or with traditional grip, these sticks are a better size for that. I would guess the weight is somewhere around a 5A, and the tip is rounded like the last one - similar to other jazz sticks. ***Pros :) -Shorter than the last Maroon Weckl stick -Good for all-around playing styles ***Cons :( -If you don't like orange, you're out of luck ... show more

  • Pretty good
Great sounding sticks. The coating makes it so hard for anyone who sweats a lot or has oily hands. Durable sticks but the coating comes off within the first two days. Balanced weight, light sticks. Not the best pair for a heavy hitters. Rimshots lack the proper power unless you use the backside of the sticks. ... show more

  • Perfection!!!
These are by far the best sticks that I have ever laid hands on. In my opinion, the balance and feel is just perfect. When playing with other set of sticks and then quickly switching to these during a session, I can immediately feel and hear a great positive difference. Strokes and articulation are quite more effortless. In my opinion, these feel lighter than other sticks of the same size but still deliver power. The coating also feels great on your hand. My only small complaint is that paint will tend to chip off from the coating when striking cymbals, etc. on the side of the stick but this is true about any stick with coating. These are very versatile and I highly recommend you give them a try! ... show more

  • These are my primary rock music sticks. I primarily ...
These are my primary rock music sticks. I primarily use them for church gigs (worship music) and rock concerts. These give me a bit more power when playing louder, anthem-like music. I've used these for jazz and acoustic sets but they tend to be too heavy/loud for my taste. The orange coloring will chip off from rim shots and other hard hits to the stick but I've seen no issue with the stick quality. I keep 3-4 pair of these on hand at all times. These are my primary practice sticks as well. ... show more
