The best for my type was a tourmaline ceramic which is what this is. My hair has dramatically improved since using this straightener. I love the vibration!     • Best flat iron for coarse, frizzy curls.
This is my third vibrastraight in about 12 years. To be honest, I’ve dropped the others a few times. My last one would heat up, but no amount of fiddling with it or trying to clean it with alcohol could make it vibrate. I use this with a Revlon One Step volumizer ( but don’t need the volume) which was a game changer, but this flat iron vibrates it’s way down my hair to leave it shiny and super straight. It’s not a good flatiron if you want to use it to create loose waves. It’s to hard to coordinate that vibrating with twisting. Use a regular flatiron or a graduated one for that. You can get a nice curl at the ends though. But, for someone who has battled with the denial of curly hair for years, I will keep buying this thing until they stop making it. Less time, less heat on haur, less damage. It’s overkill if you only need to perfect your slightly wavy hair, but it’s a must for people with curls that resist the order I try to impose upon them.     • My Favorite Flat Iron!
This is the best flat iron I've used. I had to replace mine after years of use and I knew I wanted the same one. A "vibrating" flat iron might seem strange but it's less damaging to your hair. I was so excited to find it at a great price and with an additional 20% coupon!

    • Best straightener ever!
Love this straightener. I had this one before and used it until it absolutely died. The cord broke, I fixed it with electrical tape after years of use. Got 2 more years out of it and the vibration feature finally stopped working. So I bought another. This lasted at least 9-10 years. Worth the price.

This is a straightener that is easy to use, although you do have to get used to the vibrating. Every time you clamp down, the straightener will vibrate. However it is very easy to use and quite effective on coarse, curly hair. The straightener is short, the plates are not much longer than six inches. I bought one of these several years ago and it lasted forever. So, I thought I would replace it with a new one. The new one that I bought has broken already. The green part of the barrel fell out. If I try to use it now, it breaks my hair. Definitely not worth the price!
