Smells happen, and when they do, a ozone machine is one of the best ways to clean that smell up! I feel like every household should buy one of these, but remember to treat it with respect like any other sort of power tool. It can be dangerous to use incorrectly, so read the nice large (but not long) instruction book that comes with the product and be sure to seal the room off that you're cleaning and utilize the doorknob hanger that helps let others know not to enter the space. This device is smaller than I expect, being about the size of a lunch box. It is also light! Although mostly made of metal, it is easy to carry around and no one should have issues moving this to a room that needs cleaning. The controls are fairly basic, but honestly with a device like this you don't need complex settings. I love that the cable is modular, so you can unplug it fully to store it, OR if you need a longer cable, buy one and use it! It seems to be a standard three prong plug like what is used for a PC Tower. The rotating handle is great! It gives you an easy way to move the device around while ensuring you can lay it flat against the top making it much easier to store. I tested this on my wife's craft room. The crafting materials (paints, chemicals, etc.) can make the room smell fairly easily. Sometimes though we need guest to stay the night in the room. Running this for a few hours and then airing out the space made all that smell go away. I'm sure it will be back, since we did not remove the source of the smell, but this device did a great job at removing any lingering odor from the air making the room usable as a sleeping quarter for a day or two. For the price, you're getting a great deal. Considering similarly priced units or even some just slightly cheaper will only provide half the mg/h that this device promises. It seems like a smart idea to get this one because you get a larger bang for your buck. The entire product is sturdy so I'm hoping it will last my household a long time! ... show more

    • If using would truly recommend using while no one is in the house for hours.
I set the unit up in one room and turned on for a short time to test it out. Was able to smell it in other areas of the house. This was do to having a central AC system. Luckily it was a short test on that one and found that was to do longer leave the house as a whole. Second time I set it up for an hour in the main area of the house which is an open concept going all the way upstairs. Set it at 7 am to run till 8, with coming back to the house around 4 pm. The family was mentioning the house seemed to have a cleaner smell then it normally has. Never mentioned about the unit to see if they could tell a difference. I will say reading up on these I will not run often, but can tell it does help lareas that truly needed it as also tested with an area outside the house. Seems to work. Definitely a strong ozone odor after (even after waiting 2hours, after a half hour run) Ran this in the kids' bedroom last night for the first time with the air conditioner running and ceiling fan on (small mobile home end bedroom) for a half an hour and then let it stay for 2 hours, door shut as instructed. (Recommends actually 2 to 4 hours depending on usage but I'd figured it was just a half hour) Anyhow once finished I went to heck the room and open the door. Not sure if it was my quick standing to go in there or the ozone but I did feel almost immediately tingly and the slightest bit dizzy. However I went ahead and opened the door, as well as our front door to help vent out the remaining ozone and after this was vented I can say that the smell n the bedroom was gone. I'm curious to see if this remains so for a few days (one child pees the bed quite regularly, filling a diaper then taking it off, leaving it on the floor and continuing to pee.... it's an issue we are working on with specialists) Anyhow, it DOES seem to work well but please be wary of the fumes. Don't let your family hang out while it's running and be aware even afterwards. Check yourself with people around before sending children back in. ... show more

    • Removed ALL odor from my cats room
This worked PHENOMENALLY well. I plugged it right behind my litter robot and ran it for an hour (with my pets and me in another room) and I was really stunned by how scentless it made the room. It makes a different almost absence of smell that is so REFRESHING. My only complaint was after using it a few times the glue holding the front of the knob on fell off and no matter what I do I can’t get it to stay on. Also sometimes when you turn it on it has a high pitched whirring that goes away after running a minute or so. ... show more
