When I first purchased my Samsung Z Fold 3 my first and only thought was a case to protect this expensive investment. Didn't like the official Samsung case with stylus holder and just went with what I thought would be a sturdy case for this beast of a phone. Turns out what I picked was basically junk. The front cover would fall off all the time so I decided to just keep the front cover off but that made my phone look ugly and unusable in tablet mode. So I ditched the case altogether and forgot about it until recently. Over the next couple months without a case and my camera lenses on the phone had gotten severe scratches on them, totally my fault. The tablet screen on my phone began to get air stuck between the screen protector and the actual screen, totally not my fault, meaning I had to send in my phone for repair. A full week without a cell phone, way longer than you realize, and I finally got my phone back with a fixed tablet screen and new lenses on the cameras. So I decided again to purchase a case to protect this investment. Right off the bat I needed a case that would protect the cameras. After seeing those scratches I was disappointed in myself for allowing that to happen and didn't want to have that happen again. I also wanted to keep the wireless charging, I mean why have it if you aren't going to use it. Third I wanted a better hinge cover that feels natural when you unfold the phone. Lastly, I wanted a stylus for when I finally buy the stylus for the phone. All of that and more came with this case. This case allows the phone to sit flat, or mostly flat. It has a slide cover for the cameras. A small compartment for a single credit card, though I don't plan on using it but is probably useful for others, I mainly use it for a kickstand to prop up the phone when watching entertainment. The buttons aren't too hard to get to. I've noticed some cases I've owned over the years don't take into consideration that buttons on the side of the phone need to be pressed. Thankfully this case doesn't get too much in the way. The hinge feels well made and has a stylus holder connected. My phone feels a bit more bulky now but that's to be expected in this day and age. I'd rather have a bulky phone than an unusable phone. And last but not least the front case has a screen protector, which I didn't know before purchasing. Not everything is perfect though, the reason for my four star review. I have trouble getting the phone in the perfect position for wireless charging. It does wireless charge but you have to fiddle with it. When unfolding the phone the case doesn't seem to want to unfold all the way and takes a little force, not much, to get the phone to fully unfold. Not a huge deal but it is something I've noticed. And my biggest complaint. One of my biggest pet peeves with cell phones is I hate it when something gets on the screen and you can feel that grittiness across your fingertips. I love the smooth silky feeling your fingers get on a clean screen, to me it feels like that perfect slide cut on any kind of paper with some scissors. Well the screen protector feels kind of matte, if that makes sense. I can feel some resistance when I slide my finger across the front screen. Besides all my complaints I'm very glad I purchased this case. It hits all the boxes I was looking for and hit some I didn't know I wanted. It feels very sturdy and well made and I feel way more confident with my phone in this case than I have with most of the cases I've bought for my previous phones. I do hope they fix the screen protector feel but even if they don't this case is still a worthy investment for this awesome phone. Highly recommended. ... show more

This is my 2nd one. Got it when i had to change phone....AGAIN. Love the color. And the feel/grip. It did its job but cracked the case on this one drop. Zero damage to the phone and the case still working. Phone on the other hand needs forever work to improve the screen.

Does not hold up long...

Pros: I like the cover for the camera lenses. It protects them during falls and protects privacy in case of hacking. I also like the integrated card holder, but i wish it held more than 2 cards. Cons: I purchased this in February 2024. It is now September 2024. First thing I noticed was that the cover for the closed screen is very forgiving. I had my phone face down on the kitchen counter. My kids then spilled water on the counter reached the top edge of my phone, it did not surround my phone. But the case seemingly sacked the water into it so it filled between the phone glass and the case screen.once it dried, my camera had a film on it fogging up every picture. Case was not removable without replacing sticky tape. Over time, the case has started cracking, top case is not longer protective, and (this happened earlier on) the hinge part of the case that holds the pen started to not open all the way without me prying it up a little. Also it has never allowed for my phone to fully open. It always has a slight angle to it. Today, while unfolding my phone, the back case popped off. Did it protect my phone? Yes, for a little bit. But I have had other cases withstand so much more abuse. Verdict - not sturdy enough for the price. I would not recommend this product to anyone. While I'm not happy about the case, I'm not angry either. Thus the 3 stars. ... show more

I'm loving this case. I love the sliding door camera protection feature-- my camera lens is ALWAYS dirty, so this will keep my phone from yelling at me about that. I don't have a galaxy pen, but im thinking about getting one because this case is so sleek and has room for one.
