So, I put this together by myself over 2 days. The instructions say that you need 2 people, you do not. All you need is a good drill. It will be your best friend in doing this. The instruction book at first is overwhelming at 46 pages, plus it is all pictures, no words. As long as you pay attention to what you are doing, the instructions are drawn very well. It has a lot of parts, over 40, and over 10 types of screws. Everything lined up perfectly, my only little problem was with the pull knobs. The holes in them were not drilled large enough. I did skip a few parts, I didn't need it strapped to my wall. Plus they want you to tack down the back of everything, truthfully, it was sturdy enough for me. All in all, it came out great! I’ve had this vanity for about a month now, and for the most part it’s great. Putting it together was a little difficult (taking about 4-5 HOURS), and it did not come with all of the hardware necessary to put it together, so you will need screws, if not more. About a month in, the magnet to hold the mirror shut struggles to keep it closed. I can get it to shut after a few attempts, but it’s not as good as when I first put it together. Also, one of the outlets at the top will be used by the desk itself, as the power cord for the light in the mirror is plugged in there, limiting the power to only one outlet and the usbs. You will also have to clean the mirror fairly often. The power button is on the mirror, meaning every time you turn the mirror light on, to another setting, or off, it smudges. The mirror also smudges when you have to open the door and get behind it, then again more smudges when you close it. This builds up quickly. Aside from those small problems (that may have only been specific to the vanity I received, aside from the smudges), the vanity is amazing. Lots of organized storage, sturdy, and the light settings work well, with an actual visible difference in them. The vanity feels strong and seems like it can withstand being moved around a few times. 🚨WARNING🚨 Be prepared to spend HOURS setting this up. The box is very heavy make sure to have a team going to set it up. The tools need is just a Phillips screwdriver and/or Power-drill for faster installation. In the box you will get a small L-Wrench. Instructions are very easy to read step-by-step with pictures. Each piece is numbered and the screws are also labeled. One minor problem (why I am giving this 4 stars) I had issues with is the mirror installation. It didn’t want to close properly with the magnetic latch. So I removed the screws from the latch and moved it closer and just super glued the latch. That seemed to fix that issue. Since the holes are pre drilled, my latch holes were a little too far back. Other than that, everything got like a glove. It came out amazing. My pictures are proof that this is a very nice product. I read reviews that were written by others and many of them said “it took about 4 hours to build”. I prepared my self to work on this vanity for 4 hours and it took me 10… the instructions were not clear enough to show which parts should be facing what way. Another thing is the vanity came with every single piece which was needed to be all put together. This was very time consuming and very difficult to put together. All though it was time consuming in the end i decorated it very nice and it turned out to be a great new addition to my room making it feel cozy. One last thing i noticed is it is very tiny in person. This is good for small spaces but don’t get the wrong idea from other peoples photos. ... show more

Happy how it came out but plan on a 3 hours assembly. Highly recommend group parts together as shown in the instructions helps. Overall happy with purchase. Assembled in about 4 hours so make sure you have the time to invest. To save time and confusion, I put each piece in numerical order.
