OKAY! So, a little back story. 2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I were invited to his bestfriends party to celebrate his wife and him having their first child. They recently purchased a new house in march, so I had to have a tour. Beautiful house, but most importantly, her VANITY! It was not like this one, but it was gorgeous. So I asked my boyfriend If i should get a vanity or not the next day we went home and he said go for it...WELL, I found this. - Lets start with the pro's REMINDER 1. This is NOT easy to assemble. Ladies, grab your bf or husband, tell them to stop hiding from you and come help you with this thing. Not only is it heavy as heck but it's just hard for one person to assemble. 2. This mirror is VERY pretty. It's gorgeous once full done. You can decorate it any way you'd like and it still looks AMAZING. I have a small room but its my happy place so it fit perfectly with me in my room. Lots of drawers as well, so more space for makeup! or even clothes if you will. Its your item, and your business! Do what makes YOU happy. - Cons It takes a while to assemble. I think if I had any MAJOR con about this item it would be how vague and lazy the directions are. There's a fair amount of things I would've done wrong had my boyfriend not been working in construction in his younger days and knew better/told me I was doing something wrong. That is pretty much my only con about this product. -- My overall opinion. This product came quicker than the delivery time. Nothing came broken or damaged, and the seller kept in contact the entire time. Honestly? If you're hard working and you finally want to spoil yourself with something nice, do it. Buy this. Grab your lover and assemble it together and decorate it. This vanity is also VERY sturdy. Though the instructions were vague, It did say you could mount it to the wall for more stability. which is exactly what I did and this vanity does NOT move. Friendly reminder, if your product arrives damaged/broken you NEED to file a complaint or get in contact with whoever delivered it. The seller isn't shipping you something broken or damaged. It's getting damaged on its way to you which isn't your fault, or the sellers fault, but the delivery company's fault. I use to live in New Jersey when I was 20, I lived there my entire life, and there was always an issue with me receiving something from amazon. The delivery person gave it to the wrong person, left my box outside my apartment where everyone enters, didn't ring the door bell...ALWAYS an issue. I filed a complaint against them as they were CARELESS with people's items. Once I moved with my boyfriend to a nice area in Ohio, I actually have no issues with my items anymore. I even get one day shipping, its amazing! So make sure if your item arrives damaged/broken the first person you yell at is the delivery company before you yell at the seller. Thank you! ... show more

I got this for my birthday and I really liked the way it looks. Assembling it was a very difficult and lengthy process. I had my boyfriend help me and the instructions weren’t that helpful. The wood is very cheap and did break easily while putting in some of the screws but it wasn’t that terrible. The drawers are a good size to hold pallets and hair tools. The mirror is very big and the lights are great. I do think the price is a little to much for the quality of it though. Other then that I do think it’s a really great vanity. ... show more

UPDATE: 1/04/2023 As mentioned below this vanity was to be a Christmas gift for my 15 year old granddaughter. When I told her we were returning it, and showed her the diagram, she opted to keep it in spite of the crude wiring strung from bulb to bulb on the mirror. Very weird. Like something out of the 19th century. So, I went through Amazon to have a professional put it together -- and he was professional in every way. He came with only four tools. He carefully took each piece out of the box and placed them in an ordered fashion. All the parts & pieces were there and none were damaged. It took 3.5 hours from arriving at the door to finish. All the drawers fit properly and pull easily, and the dresser and mirror are soundly attached so that there is no wobble. In my view, the wiring around the bulbs (which is not shown on the Amazon Website) is still crude and cheap looking, BUT my granddaughter seems to be happy with it -- and if she's happy I'm happy! Saved me the hassle of returning the item. Hiring the assembler was well worth the $70.00 we paid for the service. Bottom-line opinion: This item is being falsely advertised on the website. The company, C. P. Commerce is not customer friendly. If there are problems you're going to get the run-around. If you order this you will receive three separate boxes. One for the dresser, one for the mirror. Then a few days later you receive a small box with a string of bulbs, and instructions on how to attach them to the mirror. Thank goodness I opened the last box first; because had we waited until the installer came to put it together, my granddaughter would have ended up with a shabby Vanity with, very plain to see, silver & copper wiring showing between the bulbs on the mirror. Do you see wires between the bulbs on the Boahaus Diane Vanity shown on Amazon's website? NO!! Following Amazon's instructions I contacted the vendor, OJ Commerce and received an email within 48 hours. The email gave me a link to open a line of communication. It also stated " **If for any reason you are unable to respond, this issue can be reopened no later than 30 days from the date the order was delivered." I immediately responded. However, when I attempted to send the response to the link they provided a pop-up said ERR. The link was copied and pasted from OJ Commerce website, so there was no ERR on my part. AMAZON approved the return and sent a label but I need two -- actually three. OJ Commerce was contacted. The lady said they had not approved the return!! This is clearly false advertising. I will be reporting this company to Texas' Attorney General's office. ... show more

We purchased this for my daughter's Christmas. It turned out beautiful and she just loves it! It took my husband 6 hours on Christmas eve to assemble. The instructions were not clear, at one point we had 3 men attempting to interpret these instructions. Holes were also not predrilled for the drawers. This vanity is made of cheap particle board, so I do not expect this to last more than a few years. Overall, for the price, I would purchase again bc similar ones sell for way more. Once it is put together it's pretty solid. So basically just know you are getting a nice temporary piece of furniture that is time consuming to assemble before you purchase this. Do not wait until Christmas eve to put together like my husband did! I tried to warm him. Also, definitely get the glass knows. Such a nice upgrade. ... show more
