    • Not exactly heating things up
We purchased the ventless gas fireplace logs to replace our failed older unit. The smell that occurs as new units are initially used, took a long time to dissipate. When using the logs on the highest level, there is a high pitched whistling sound, which is quite annoying. Also, the unit doesn’t heat nearly as well as our old one. On a positive note, compared to the businesses that we reviewed, for a product including insulation, this was the best all around for price and functionality and moderately ease of installation. ... show more

Item is ok. It is fully functional but puts out less heat then prior logs. Will use for a few years but look forward to replacing it--already.

    • Only one that fit
This was the only log set that would fit and was ventless. Hard to reach the switch to light it. Have to get down in the floor and reach into the logs. 😩Still smells when burning gas. Our older one didn’t smell
