I’ve been in the market for a tri-stand for more than a little bit. I purchased a bench type pipe vise years ago from Amazon and it has been more than satisfactory. However, there are those 1 of 4 jobs where there isn’t always a safe enough, sturdy enough place to attach it to. So that’s kept me looking for a tri-stand. Rigid is great. Don’t get me wrong their products are worth every penny but I just haven’t wanted to spend what’s asked for their stands. This is the 1st tri-stand that I’ve seen like this. It’s sturdy, well built and even has a handle to carry it. I don’t think that the Rigid stand has a way to lock the legs in place when it’s in use and when in transit. This one does. So it doesn’t need a chain or bungee to secure the legs when carrying it. Great product! ... show more

Very good product locks in the pipe and holds it down. The adjustable legs is very good when closed that pipe stand could still stand up straight without falling over to the side a plus for that thank you very much for this product but it would be nice if the price was adjusted a little bit lower.

This vice is nice that you can fold it up and carry it and comes with a handle. Wish it would get a little bit smaller, but out of all the vices we have ever used this one is the most portable and fits well in the truck and is easy to carry.
