Bought this to aerate our trout pond and hopefully keep from completely freezing over in the winter. We live in NW Montana so this winter will be a good test. I am pleased with the unit so far, but the customer service is terrible! I guess trying to communicate with someone from another country through email is a little difficult. The individual I was corresponding with was nice enough but couldn’t understand the part I was trying to have replaced. I received it broken and never did get a new part. It’s been months so I don’t think I will!

I like the looks. I like the quiet nuts and I like the value. I had no motor that did not last. This one had a lot better review. And I'm hoping it will keep working for many years. I now have the timer. That comes with it. I like that a lot so I don't have to count. Sleep plugged in in an out.

purchased in March 2023, unit has been running 24/7 ! not a single issue! Cleaned air filter a couple times due to dust. now looking for a replacement air filter and they seem a little hard to find.

It's a bit louder than expected but nothing crazy and I think the hose is a bit undersized for a 100ft run but it does the job at a good price. Especially if you catch it at the $333 sale price . Only had it a couple days I'll update in the future if there's any major problems Update: after a a month and a half of continuously running in a 1 acre pond. The algea is far worse than previous years without an aerator. Don't really notice the water clarity being any better. The fish (bluegill, crappie, and bass) do seem more active and definitely biting a lot more.

I got this about a week ago to replace a much larger and expensive Air Max 1 hp model. It was packaged well and about as easy as it gets to assemble. I was surprised by how it performed against the Air Max. Overall I say the airflow was about the same or close enough. The sound was about the same as the Air Max. Only time will tell if it’s as good as the Air Max. It lasted 10 years.
