Features

  • Durable Material: This commercial bookbinding press is constructed with thickened steel, featuring a classic silver-grey appearance. The durable thickened steel allows it to be used in the long term without deformation.
  • Effective Working: Our powerful paper flattener is commonly suitable for A4 sized paper. Its obvious to perceive that your documents can be flattened more efficiently by 12" x 8.7" (305 x 220 mm) large working area and 5.9" (150 mm) flattening thickness. Moreover, owing to the rotary handle, elongated nut, and thickened plate, the pressure can reach 2204 lbs (1000 kg), which helps you work effortlessly.
  • Steady Structure: Non-slip foot pads reduce damage on the tabletop and increase friction to make the bookbinding tool more stable. On the other hand, two balance rods and 0.3" (8 mm) baseplate thickness facilitates it to bear more substantial pressure evenly.
  • Easy Operation Its relatively easy to operate this bookbinding press machine, especially with the detachable three-side baffles. Documents can be flattened tightly against the left, right, and middle baffle, ensuring a more convenient working process.
  • Excellent Office Tool: Our paper press machine, as a necessary office tool for sorting out data, is perfect to press bills, documents, books, stamps, banknotes, etc.

  • Gift for my Son in Law
My son-in-law does handcrafted leather work and used this to press designs into leather. He said it was really well made and heavy duty enough to handle the leather. He is really happy about the quality, which means I am too.

  • Great product for the price
Having read the reviews before purchase, I decided to order anyway. The product was well packed, no issues as far as that goes. Yes there was a bit of grease on the screws, but that is going to help with friction. Why people are having to put there hands on them I don’t understand. It could use more rubber washers and possibly guides as it clangs a bit, but nothing really to be irritated by. As far what I received, a well built press for a great price when compared to the other options. ... show more

  • For the Price, Great. But there are problems
I've had mine for a couple of months now with lots of use as a book and paper press, so I've had time to learn the strengths and weaknesses. The Good: This is a sturdy thing (so long as it survives shipping) and can press down paper and books of all thicknesses. I've seen where it's failed for people using it for other purposes, so I can't speak to that. An extra turn or 2 of the handle after the pressing plate hits the stack of papers/books (it will feel loose at first until you keep turning) is all you need to flatten everything The Bad: There are the ends of 4 screws on the underside of the pressing plate. You will NEED a piece of wood at least 1/2" thick with the pressing dimensions of the paper/books to keep them from denting but press evenly. Place the wood piece on top of the stack and press. The 1/2" absorbs the dents while keeping the papers/books pristine. I've tried thinner, scrap hardboard even, and eventually the dents came through. The Ugly: There really isn't. For the money, the flaws are manageable so long as everything is in order when it arrives. I only removed a star for the 4 screws because it's manageable. ... show more

  • VEVOR Manual Paper Press Machine dissapoints
Description states new but what I received had seen some use. Covered with paper dust, glue and perhaps silicone grease. Black oil on handle. The top plate sways freely. Cleaned it up, but it is still not satisfactory. A replacement was ordered since there was potential...it was missing pieces, and one of the red plastic handles was broken. Also covered in black oil. Grateful that I was in work clothes as it would have ruined any other apparel. The packaging might be a contributing factor as it is inadequate for the weight and the handling that shipping entails. Unfortunate experience and cannot commend this product. Hard pass. ... show more

  • Great product and customer service
This product is perfect and the customer service is exceptional. I had an issue with delivery because my local FedEx sucks and they couldn't find my package at first. However, customer service went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and I would purchase from them again anytime. If you're looking for a paper press,I highly suggest getting this one. Not only is it there best baby for your buck, and works great, but customer service is exceptional. ... show more

  • Worth the price.
Well constructed and can be disassembled for cleaning or modifications. I removed the back retaining plate with an Allen wrench so that I could place larger paper stock in it. I'm using it for embossing purposes and it applies plenty of pressure for this purpose. Well worth the price.

  • Using it as a Printing Press
I have seen these book presses listed on Amazon for a while now. They are often sold under different names from various non-amazon sellers (carpe diem). I was interested in using this as a printing press rather than a standard bookbinding press. I have found that it does work okay for printing my wood engravings but it is not perfect. First, you really have to crank it HARD to get an adequate amount of pressure. This means you need to secure it to your table somehow to get the most torque. A wider crank would have been nicer. Second, in addition to standard packing over the paper, it helps to have a rubbery pad below the block when printing. I'm just using an old mouse pad for now, but I may replace that with a 1/4" think piece of rubber if I can find one. Overall, the build quality seems pretty good for the price. When I got this it was marked down to $113 and that seems to be a fairer price than what these usually go for. Still a lot cheaper than an antique iron book press. ... show more
