Unlike many of the other fabric rolling carriers, this was is roomy enough for my 18# cat. I wanted a carrier that can easily fold up for storage in my small apartment. This has 3 ways of unzipping to place cat inside, plenty of ventilation, 2 good-sized pockets on one side for storage. It comes with a cozy fur insert that can be removed and cleaned, and a duffle-bag type shoulder strap if you prefer to not use wheel base. It was easy to assemble (sides just zip up, zippers are good quality and close smoothly), and thick velcro straps attach to base with wheels. Wheels glide all directions and the handle adjusts like rolling suitcase. The top and side screened openings have a flap that can be used to cover "window" if your pet prefers privacy. I doubt this would fit beneath a plane seat, and I would not recommend this carrier if your pet flies in any other compartment without owner present, as there is only a flexible frame built into the fabric. Although the carrier does not collapse or buckle, it will not withstand any heavy object placed on top. Goes without saying, not suitable for feral cats. This is a perfect solution for car transport to vet. ... show more

The carrier design is well thought out, and the materials and build quality look sturdy for the price. Assembly was quick with good instructions. Many ways to get your pet into the carrier with a lot of space and good ventilation. It can be folded up reasonably compactly for storage. It had a slight chemical smell when taken out of the box but hopefully that will dissipate in a few days. I'm going to use some paper clips to hold the zippers closed so my cat can't escape. I can't say how durable it will be since I just got it. Big question is if my cat will tolerate being in it. ... show more

We have a large and heavy Maine Coon, and I’m unable to carry a pet carrier with him in it, so this makes it much easier to transport him to the vet. It rolls like luggage (and rolls smoothly). There’s plenty of room for a large cat or 2 smaller cats to fit comfortably. He actually likes to get in it on his own. ... show more

    • Wish at least 2 wheels locked, but o/w great!
The very sketchy included instructions were nearly unintelligible (thank you, China!). Once I decided to completely ignore them, I popped the 4 wheels on in less than 1 minute, velcro’d the carrier to the cart (2 Velcro sleeves, not 3 as stated in the description, but seems snug) and was ready to roll. Rolls and maneuvers very smoothly, plenty of room for my biggest 15# cat. This will make vet visits MUCH easier for me - yay! My only functional criticism is that I wish at least 2 of the wheels locked, preventing the unit from swiveling when placing a cat into/out of the carrier and keeping it from rolling in the car. Not a deal-breaker, though.. Fabric and rubberized mesh seem very sturdy. ... show more

I mainly purchased this design for transporting my 22 lb Maine Coon kitty to the vet and groomer. It will also be great for transporting two of our average sized cats when needed. For the price, it’s sturdier and better than I expected.

Update: too flimsy. In picking it up to take out of vehicle, it stsrted to collapse. Dog was dumped all around. Its been to long or I'd return it. It was easy to assemble. BUT so light, I'm not sure how I'm going to keep the dog contained. Use with caution, keep your eyes on your pet. I'd pass for a sturdier one. ... show more

Toby weighed 18 pounds and about 3 feet long. He fit the carrier with room to move around. It was easy to transport and roll around the veterinary. Much lighter than my old plastic carriers. The veterinary staff even liked it. It folds up mostly flat for easy storage. I only use carriers to take my cats to the vet for shots, etc. I haven't traveled with this carrier and don't plan on any airline or other travel usage. I only have one caution. It takes a minute to zip the door closed. A highly rambunctious cat should be burrito-bundled in a towel or blanket with this carrier. Overall, an excellent purchase. ... show more
