Puts together easily and materials seem to be good quality. The floats held air and the one way valves work great. I was able to inflate the old fashioned way within a minute. The only problem was that the screw they included to attach the middle section to your canoe/kayak are completely useless. Trying to figure out how you are going to connect it to your watercraft is going to be the most tricky part. I attached mine to my canoe with hose clamps and they work great. I love how portable the whole system is. I’m taking them out this week in the water and will update the review if there are problems. UPDATE: we used the stabilizers this weekend while fishing on a river with some current. They worked better than I expected. I was able to stand in my canoe without any fear of it tipping.

These fit a canoe perfectly and are well made and well put together. Made the canoe extremely stable so my very small kids could run amd jump around no worries. We even went through class 1 and 2 rapids (small stuff) on the delaware with them on and they made it super enjoyable because we didn't have to keep worrying about stability and telling the kids to stay low. I strapped them to the yoke of the canoe using ikea style tension straps. Had to wet the straps first so they wouldn't lose tension halfway through but it was no issue. Even if the straps loosen a bit the canoe is still stable with this design. I am 200 lbs and was able to easily get back in the canoe from a swim with these things on. Plus it was easy getting the kids in and out of the water with them, so they got a few nice swim breaks throughout our trip. They sit an inch or two deep in the water when installed, causing a good amount of drag since they are so short. This is great when with kids or large dogs as it makes the canoe extremely stable. But I might consider making a spacer out of a small peice of 2x4 next time to lift them up a few inches higher, so they just barely skim the surface when the boat is flat, and only dig in and cause drag when heeled over a bit. Or maybe ill just mount them sideways or upside down to get the same effect. I think these would allow a canoe to safely go into coastal bays and larger lakes even when the water is cold, and are excellent for fishing because you can stand up in the boat to cast or catch a fish no problem. I wouldn't take them out in particularly rough water but they did fine in 1 - 2 foot waves/rapids. They are too short, fat and draggy for a sailing or motor rig though in my opinion. A minor issue we had was one of the pins that keeps the floats fell off my first time using it, but there is enough friction alone to hold the floats on at least for a while (it was fine for a 6 mile river trip without it). Ill probably replace it with a through bolt and nylon lock nut in the future.

Like everything I own from Vevor (which is becoming alot), it is of the highest quality and extremely budget friendly. I highly recommend. I find no issues with the product itself. I do wish it came with better instructions for install.

Absolutely solid! 100% the best upgrade to your kayak or canoe! Pontoons are made of a thick vinyl like material seems pretty puncture resistant. The brackets are sturdy aluminum with plenty of eyelets to attach your screws to. I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend or anybody out on the water. Update... still going strong!

I have an 85 pound, 2 year old Labrador retriever that loves to go canoeing but it's been life and death with her in the boat until I got these outriggers. I had to custom adapt the outrigger mounting rail to our canoe - I expected to have to do that before I ordered the set. I'm a DIYer by nature so it wasn't too difficult to adapt the mounting rail to our boat, YMMV. Once the rail is attached, the outriggers can be installed and removed without any tools in under 2 minutes. When the outriggers are installed the canoe is rock stable. "Puppy" can stand with front paws on the gunwale and the the boat barely shifts. I just can't say enough about how amazingly well these work! I never used to take fishing gear when canoeing with puppy for fear of losing everything in a capsize, but now I have complete confidence and a new 4-legged fishing buddy. These outriggers are worth every penny, I highly recommend them.

Well I'm giving this the stabilizers a three because one as a lot of drag behind my kayak it's terrible and the instructions on how to put it together could be a little bit better it took me 10 minutes to figure out what the heck the instructions even said so I throw them out but I'm going to upgrade where I put them I'm going to raise them so they don't have so much drag on the water

I needed a way to stabilize my canoe when I used a trolling motor with a battery, especially when I have a lot of extra gear. The photos and video show the Vevor out rigger inflatable stabilizers on my MyCanoe Solo2 folding canoe. I built the bracket with the backrest to mount onto this canoe, as well as a MyCanoe Duo two seater. The Vevor stabilizer was easy to adapt and mount to my bracket as you will see in the video. I need it primarily for my Duo on those occasions when I have another person with me. Many people who are not used to canoeing sometimes panic if the canoe tips just a little and can potentially flip the canoe over (ask me how I know that?!) I’m ready now though. Can’t wait to try standing in my canoe while fishing and casting. This stabilizer setup is a great buy for the quality of this product. IMHO if you are looking for a really good, easily mountable stabilizer kit, don’t hesitate to purchase this one!
