There was no even pressure from the top plate. The timer is not automatic and has a button to push to turn it on every time you try to press something. Just returned it after attempting to press interface to fabric multiple times and just ended up using an iron to get it to work.

This press bundle is great for the price, it works real good, heats up and maintains heat good, the size is real good, and has enough downward preasure for what we need. I followed the included instructions to sublimate shirts and the results were pretty good. Did take me a minute before I could dial down the printer settings... lol

I bought this heat press on sale, and I'm so glad I did. It makes my small business run and works great. Comes with so many extra parts as well. Definitely worth investing in if you make apparel.

DO NOT BUY. This item is poorly constructed. It has cheap plastic peices. A thin pressure arm that feels like it will snap when you close it. Went to return it and they wanted to charge me $65 to return it. Learn from my mistake. Avoid this!
