Product as advertised has a capacity of 500lbs. Product received is described on received box label has a capacity of 250lbs and is so described by supplier. If weight is of concern consider the lower weight.

This is a really nice dolly set. I got the 680lb set which includes 4 square dollies, 4 stick on pads, 4 height blocks and a lever. The height pads are to put under the fulcrum of the lever to raise it up if needed. The lever is nice, but has quirks. The handle is not very big in diameter so you may need a glove. The flat part that goes under the furniture is not coated, so I covered it in duct tape to protect my wooden furniture. The lever works really well, but I had trouble getting the two parts apart again. Using just a finger or thumb, I couldn't get the pin pushed in far enough to release the joint. I oiled it, and it was no help. I figured out that the best way to do it, is to use a retractable ball point pen to push the pin in, while pulling the two parts of the lever handle apart. The dollies themselves roll easily. It was easy to push my furniture around on my hard wood. I haven't tried them on carpet. The wheels are 1" in diameter, so they may or may not be easy to roll on carpet depending on the pile. Despite the written description, there are no brakes on the wheels. They do swivel 360 degrees though, so it is easy to push the furniture in the direction you want it to go. Just don't go downhill, or be careful if doing so. Also, the stock pictures are misleading: the dollies are ~4 inch square each, so not all that big. Each square has raised edges on two sides to keep your furniture from sliding off the side while you push, which is nice. Overall, this is a very nice set. The lever is useful but quirky. The dollies are substantial, sturdy, and easy to roll.

This product does exactly what it says, with some important limitations and caveats. The quality seems adequate. All of the pieces were in the box, everything was in good shape, and everything looks and feels reasonably well-made. The tip of the prybar is just metal, and I think there’s a pretty good chance you could damage heavy items by lifting with this thing. You could easily gouge wood, of course. But I think if the item is heavy enough, the end of the prybar might dent or even puncture the bottom of a heavy metal item you’re trying to lift. I recommend fixing some type of pad near the tip to hopefully prevent this. I tried this on a dresser and refrigerator. The prybar lever is not quite long enough to give you a tremendous amount of mechanical advantage; it was still pretty challenging to lift up the corner of either of these heavy items — though it did work. I needed to use the stackable platforms for my dresser, which was a few inches off the ground. Frankly, these did not seem very stable, and it was awkward to get the prybar to stay on top of them while prying. I did get it to work, but it was definitely more precarious than I would like. The wheels on the platforms are very small, and somewhat soft. As the instruction manual says, it’s really only suitable for smooth, hard floors. You certainly couldn’t use this on any type of carpet. But it would also be challenging to use these on kitchen tile with standard grout lines; the wheels would easily get stuck in the grout lines as you move the item across the floor. I was hoping to use this in my garage (concrete floor) to move my workbench. But the manuals specifically says that your floor shouldn’t have any dirt or debris. My garage floor has plenty of dirt and debris, so I’m not even sure if this would work there. 3/5 stars. This product seems to do everything it claims, but the problem is that the number of places you could actually use it seems extremely limited. Basically hardwood, laminate, and pristine finished concrete.

These can be quite handy given the right circumstances. If you need to move something heavy across a smooth solid surface these can help make a multi-person job into one. The little lifter they supply does come in handy as long as you can slide it under the edge of the item and that edge is strong enough to support the weight. The downside is that just the slightest bump can impact the small wheels and the item can slide right off one or more dollys. What is needed is something that has more grip than what is provided to keep the item from sliding off at the slightest bump. Because of how small the wheels are and how easily items slide off of the dollys, they will not work on soft surfaces which is too bad. If they had a means of being secured to the item, it would really make these useful, especially if you just want to move items across a room and not have to get help.
