Pros: Definitely has pulling power and pretty easy to set up; I tested it on a big BMW and it pulled it into the garage with no problem. Compact and doesn't take up much room. Remote works great. Very good value. Cons: The take-up reel doesn't load evenly side to side and with the space allocated around it, the cable starts hitting the rods that surround it. Initially I attached the hook off-center under the car and that definitely didn't help. Attaching it in the middle was better but not perfect. The round electrical connectors used for the battery were too small to attach to the battery connectors; I had to snip them in the middle and bend them out to get them to fit.

I really like this wench small and powerful. It will still pull out 4800lbs . However it’s always connected to the battery and the outside remote is available for strangers and kids to do pranks , so be careful. Other than that it’s nice .

This review is for the Velvor 4500 lb electric winch. Review date is 12/23. Update 3-24. The winch has been in storage since purchased back in 8-23. I installed the winch for a task the other day. The winch worked alright, BUT, this winch is not weather proof by any means. We has a slight drizzle, and I mean slight, and by the next day, the bolts holding the winch together were all rusted. I'm pretty sure that had the winch been exposed any longer to the elements, the winch would soon rust to into prices. If the intended use for this winch involves the winch getting wet... look elsewhere. Very poor quality components. Enough said, you've been warned.
