The winch is nice and seems sturdy built. I put on a tilt deck trailer to use to pull dead equipment or vehicles onto the trailer. Pulled my tool-loaded ram 2500 (9500#) onto the trailer without even batting an eye. I like it so far. Line speed seems pretty fast. Wireless remote clicks on and off at the outer limits of its range. Kind of aggravating, but still better than 10' away with wire. The wireless remote and the fact that the cables don't come with 3/8 eyes on them is the only reason that I don't give it 5 stars. ... show more

Works as expected, wired remote that concerts to wireless is a nice touch. However about 15' of the winch rope in the middle of the spool mind you... is flattened like a pancake... kind of disappointed.

I installed the wench and hooked it up according to the instructions (with very little information). I hooked up a known good battery to it and it just clicked. I though maybe the battery was a little low so I hooked up my truck charger to it and turned it up to the highest setting. It just clicked a little faster. ... show more
