The winch is nice and seems sturdy built. I put on a tilt deck trailer to use to pull dead equipment or vehicles onto the trailer. Pulled my tool-loaded ram 2500 (9500#) onto the trailer without even batting an eye. I like it so far. Line speed seems pretty fast. Wireless remote clicks on and off at the outer limits of its range. Kind of aggravating, but still better than 10' away with wire. The wireless remote and the fact that the cables don't come with 3/8 eyes on them is the only reason that I don't give it 5 stars. ... show more

I installed this winch, and within 10 minutes of lifting my snow blade on my 4-wheeler pushing snow it no longer would function. I checked all wiring and connections they were fine and tight. Works as expected, wired remote that concerts to wireless is a nice touch. However about 15' of the winch rope in the middle of the spool mind you... is flattened like a pancake... kind of disappointed.
