Assemble was easy and the saw cuts clean and true. Just what you would expect from a compound miter saw. Now that's what I would expect from a mite saw. Now what I love about this saw is the LED light with its paper line. What and improvement over a red laser line and it also was true to the cut cliff. Because this is a double level saw the price point is around half the price of name products with similar features.

Overall, it is not a bad saw. I like the shawdow lines to line u the cut. This is worth its value, but I think for another 80 bucks, a Harbor Freight one might be built a bit better. That said it cuts at all angles, you have to remove or really open part of the fence to keep the motor from hitting, and get the clearance to lean to the right. I do like the slides are mounted to the base forward on the saw and the saw slides on the rails. You can have it set flush against a wall and slide the saw all the way to the rear and many that the rails move will hit the wall. It is lightweight, easy too move, and easy to use. It does come with a 60 tooth blade that is great for most jobs, but if doing fine cabinet work, I recommend a 80 tooth blade. It came fully assembled, minus the blade being installed. It appears to take a standard 5/8 in arbor saw blade. I got the 10 inch version, and overall I am happy with it.

I had a old miter saw that someone gave me long ago and it was pretty beat up and not accurate and did not have a double bevel capability. This Vevor compound miter saw is extremely impressive! My test cuts were perfectly straight at 90 degrees. The sliding action was super smooth and actually slid on it's own backward because my work bench is not completely level which I had no idea. I purchased due to the dual bevel tilting head which I need to build the angled roofs on my hexagon bird feeders. I have many new tools but this is the Jewel of them all. I thought it might come with a laser light but it only has led light which is fine with me since I am a master woodworker :) .

The fence is not perfectly straight (I put a level against it and there is a gap on both sides near the center) and the sliding lock doesn't work no matter how tight I turn it. It cuts well and I like the sliding arms on the side so I have more room in the back. But with the gap (can't get nice 90 degree cuts with it), I will be returning this.

This is what I needed to make wood projects. I unboxed it and the first thing I noticed is it comes with a 10” blade with 60 teeth, so I didn’t have to visit my local home improvement store and buy one, which just saved me time and money. A 10” 60 teeth blade is a good all around size to have to cut most of the things you would need to cut. Second observation, the cord is long enough for me that I can plug it into the plug in the wall in my garage and sit it on the floor in the corner and not have to buy an extension cord or use up an outlet. I took my tape measure out and the cord measured 7’ long. I have used different saws, and familiar on how one works, so you should consult the included manual and I also recommend watching YouTube videos yourself on how one of these saws operate. And, make sure when you took it out of the box and you mount the blade to the saw, you put it in the correct orientation. Of course, Always wear eye and ear protection! After mounting the blade and setting the angle to 0 degrees, and wearing ear and eye protection, I got a piece of scrape 2x4 wood and made several passes and the end of piece was straight and smooth and cut very fast. I used different cuts and angles and it to me would be something I would use to build a dresser or cabinets. I could easily see someone using it on a job site . It seems to be constructed with strong materials that it would hold up with daily use. I plan to keep it in one spot in my garage but carrying it around repeatedly would be something you have to consider because the listing says it weighs just under forty pounds. As far as recommendations, I actually do like this saw and plan to start building a toddler seat for my grandchild when I get some more nice pieces of wood. I recommend getting scrape pieces of wood to practice on until you are familiar with all the features. Lastly, For safety reasons, I recommend unplugging it after use and keeping it away from children.

This 15 Amp saw, equipped with a 60-tooth blade, handles cuts up to 12" wide and 3.5" deep with ease. Made of aluminum, it’s lightweight and portable, and the smooth-sliding mechanism, which can be locked in place, adds versatility. The LED light enhances precision, and adjustable fences ensure straight, 90-degree cuts. The saw’s ability to tilt 45 degrees left or right (with fences removed) and its space-saving design, allowing it to sit closer to walls, are notable perks. However, it’s not built for heavy-duty use or rough handling, making it better suited for hobbyists than contractors. The hard plastic blade guard feels flimsy and prone to breaking. Installing the blade was a struggle—the screw was overtightened, requiring excessive force to loosen (clockwise). The instructions are also lackluster, offering little clarity. For occasional use on wood, composite decking, or laminates, this saw delivers impressive value. While not contractor-grade, its performance, features, and affordability make it a worthwhile purchase for DIYers. Just handle it with care and be prepared for some initial setup challenges.
