The media could not be loaded. I really wanted to like this product and hoped it would work, however some of the previous reviews were correct. Although the power works and the case holds a full charge, when the Oura Gen 4 ring base is in the case and you place the ring in it to charge, it only stays connected for approximately 30 seconds and at longest, 2 minutes before disconnecting and stops charging.     • Charging disconnects card constantly
Unfortunately the box doesn't stay closed for too long and discontinues charging every 30-40 seconds... likely because the box slightly opens up after a while and doesn't remain snapped closed to keep charging action going.

I have had my charging case for about a week and have charged my oura ring 4 several times with no issues at all. I made sure to fully charge the case and then placed the oura dock inside. At first I thought it wasn’t charging but realized that the ring will only charge if the case is CLOSED. Once I figured that out I have not had any issues at all. If anything changes I will gladly update my review, but as of now this is the perfect solution until oura decides to make its own wireless charging case. ... show more

    • Super convenient!
I had to return my first one for replacement because the cover wouldn’t stay attached, but my replacement has been great. It’s super convenient to have the dock case with me. I used to carry the cord and dock with me and it was sometimes a challenge making sure I was in a place to keep it stable if I was on the go. Now I don’t have to worry about it because I just put it in the case, close the top and leave it in my purse or pocket. Sometimes it’s just a quick boost that I need until I get to somewhere I settle. I don’t like charging when I’m on the move and lose good tracking info. It has decent battery life. I’ve not used it for full charges yet because I don’t let my Ring die completely. ... show more

    • Faulty or Defective…..Does not Work!!!
Useless. Does not work. My Oura ring 4 is firmware 2.5.3 which meets requirements stated by manufacturer. But even though case fulls fully charged my ring only charges for two minutes at the most before the case stops charging the ring. Hoping manufacture reaches out to me to let me try another one in case this one is defective (apparently there are some out there judging by some other reviews). Until then…..STEER CLEAR AND DON’T BUY!!!!!! ... show more

    • Maybe hold off...
So far, not great. I recently switched from Ringconn 2 to Oura 4 and have been impressed by a lot the ring has to offer. However not having a travel charging case seemed like it would be a big loss. This was the only option for Gen 4 on the banner, but seemed like it would be a suitable replacement. I like what it used the existing puck charger so that I have two pieces in one rather than two different chargers lying around. It's only about 25% larger than the Ringconn case, but still fully pocketable. It's not marked and it only comes in black, which means it might get lost at the bottom of a dark bag, but not a deal breaker. Anyway, I fully charged the case and yesterday my Oura battery had gotten low for the first time. I decided to put it on the charger at 11:00 PM and it had 11% battery. After 10 minutes it had 16%. Nice. Still I decided to let it charge overnight. Fast forward to 7 AM this morning and I get a notification that the r ring has low battery. I open the app and it doesn't have low battery, however it only has 75%. I don't know what happened overnight, but was very disappointed that it wasn't fully charged. At this point I'm on the fence about keeping it because I'm not sure it's worth the money. I will probably try it out for another week or so and see if I get different results, but at the rate it's going I don't expect it to hold up. It's a shame it's the only one on the market, but I'm even more bummed at this. Design didn't work better than other charging cases I've seen for the Gen 3 model. ... show more
