I’m very pleased with this product. Reasonably easy to use and get fairly accurate results. Not a super accurate tool but works well for cutting beams from thick slabs. I use it in conjunction with an Alaskan mill to produce materials for raised garden beds and lawn furniture. A good inexpensive tool.

I chose the vevor because the clamping mechanism is cast iron. It attaches securely to the guide bar with no flexing and with an old 2 x 4 I was able to slab a very straight board. I think the key is to cut lightly back and forth to get the best result. The set screws used for clamping are okay but its probably best to tighten them and then leave it rather than putting the guide on and off your saw. If the set screws mush out on me I'll just replace with some bolts instead.

Sharf not long enough for clearance of the attachment head. But look like this is as design; perhaps does not mean to go pass 90 degree because another one from another manufacturer has the same problem

PITA to operate and still cuts crooked. Tightened screws to the point of gouging my bar. They vibrate loose and let the part hit chain. Ruined a $30 chain. Returned it.

I needed one log cut up in some woods and this handy guide did not let me down! It took a little while but it got the job done and I have some useable lumber to boot! Take your time and it will work just fine - great value!

Non-functional. 2 of the 3 chainsaw bar mounting bolt holes are not tapped all the way through making it unusable. Will require retapping the holes to make it usable
