I read all the reviews before buying this one. Everyone who said it was hard to install, I am guessing, isn't good or patient with building things. I am a 5'6" woman, who is handy, and got this "garage" erected by myself in under 3 hours. Steel poles are sturdy, all the welds are good, tarp roof and sidewalls are sound... the only thing I changed up was adding more tarp bungees and heavy duty ground stakes. The stakes that came with it are pretty flimsy. I live in Colorado where it is windy and we get substantial snow fall. So far, this thing has held up to several winter storms with winds up to 75mph. I did purchase the extended warranty from Amazon in case the top or walls ripped. But so far it hasn't budged and the Jeep and Harley inside it are unaffected by any weather. Would recommend this unit. The instructions are not super clear as written, but if you lay out the parts it's pretty straightforward. ... show more

    • Not for strong winds
We live in an area with occasional 13-35 mph winds. It took 4 of these windy days to rip and blow this down. We had it very securely staked to the ground. I used gorilla take to try to repair the rip, but to no avail. For me this was a waste of money. It did go together pretty quickly and if it’s not in a windy area, maybe would hold up. ... show more

    • This Carport will work well, but not sure how long it will hold up

The package arrived a little damaged, obviously not vendor related. A few of the poles were bent, which was a little disappointing. The shipment did however include all required items, and was very easy to put together with 1 person in about 3 hours. So Far so good, and everything looks solid. I am a little sketched out by the tie down rope they gave that stretches, so I will be replacing with a better rope for the winters in New England. ... show more

It’s an affordable tent. The process of putting it together isn’t too complicated for 2 people, but if you live anywhere remotely windy, don’t get it. There is not a bar bracing the legs together at the bottom, meaning it’s pretty wobbly in general and if you leave the door unzipped, it creates a wind tunnel and rips the windows open.     • Barn in a box...
It's quite nice. I have classic cars that I'm always improving upon with a garage that's too small for all my vehicles to fit in and work on at the same time. My solution was to buy a "barn in a box" so I can park one outside while I work on the others. Assembly was straight forward at a glance of the instructions, two people at certain points is almost a must. It went up easy in an hour or so. There's plenty of room to walk around all 4 sides of my cars/trucks while parked in there. I don't have any complaints about this barn in a box other than expect to use zip ties on the post to keep everything in place otherwise the wind will move the walls around quite a bit. So far, we haven't had much snow here in Michigan but that will be tested soon. As long as 95% of the snow/moisture is left out of the "barn" Ill be happy. I also put it on top of a waterproof tarp to hopefully keep the moisture from the ground from creeping up. ... show more

Initially I was really impressed with this canopy. For the money, it is sturdy and seems like it will hold up. Would have given it 5 stars. However, after setting it up and moving my tools under it I found that the roof is not 100% waterproof. We live in Alaska. Not the real cold part, coastal Alaska. We get a lot of rain. This canopy was bought to protect my saws and other tools as we are finishing work on two guest cabins. It did not. Really had high hopes for this canopy but it seems like there are several tiny holes in it that I have to find and patch. Not going to rip it down to send it back. ... show more

Finally installed this and while doing so found two holes in roof. Very bad. Storms coming and need to cover classic car so can’t return but very unhappy. No way this should arrive with a hole in the tarp roof. Also color is not grey on outside. It is black. Ordered grey to closely match house and very disappointed. ***update. Poor strength tarp material. In mild wind one grommet area is already tearing. DO NOT recommend at all. Joke of a seller. Do not deal with. Now leaking in other areas. ... show more
