I was overly surprised at the quality of the this trailer dolly. It's well made with heavy duty pieces. The tires are oversized and they even have bearings inside for the axel. A true sign of quality is straight welds and everything was painted perfectly. Based on the price difference between the Vevor dolly and others at a much higher price, I thought for sure it would be constructed cheaply. Again this dolly is amazing quality for the price. I did make one modification, I replaced some of the bolts with quick removable cotter pins. This allows me to break it down quickly to store. Well done Vevor. ... show more

My dolly arrived with a defective rubber pad. The company went above expectations in resolving the problem for me. The dolly itself is very rugged and will carry my boat well for many years. A loaded kayak with gear and batteries along with the sheer weight of the dolly unusable as is. I was able to reduce some of the weight by removing the 2 outer metal struts. Beware description and pictures are not accurate as I needed to drill holes in center bar to make front pad position adjustable. Otherwise it’s in a fixed position. Replaced 2 bolts with 3/8” clevis pins for easy adjusting and breakdown if needed. Lastly added 2 pvc tubes to front pads to keep kayak centered over wheels otherwise it was unbearable to use. ... show more

Took about 40 minutes to assemble because, as others have said, the instructions could a bit clearer / could use accompanying close-up photos in some cases (particularly where the bunks/pads are attached). But generally easy enough to put together with some guess-and-check. A few washers/nuts came unscrewed in transit but were easy to find within the cardboard box. I have some questions about stability — the nuts holding the tires on allow for a lot of left-right play in the wheels, and the pads near the wheels seem to be assembled slightly off-kilter from each other when you follow the instruction photos, but that may be a stability thing? — but I’m using this to carry a 200ish lb dinghy and generally have no reason not to trust the components’ load-bearing capacity. For previous reviewers… the missing bolts/nuts should be there, they just might be hiding! I had to unscrew two pre-set bolts in component A in order to access the 6 additional bolts/nuts which are stashed in the joint cavities on the left and right side under where the pads attach. If you walk your dollies around, you may hear them rattling in there. I’m attaching a pic of a sticker that Vevor included on component A in my kit.
