I received the GK9-370, not the GK9-890. It works fine. I'm closing sand bags, so the only issue I have is running an extension cord to my sand pile. I had to rethread the machine today and let me say, there is no good illustration or videos showing how to properly rethread this device. I found out by accidentally putting my loose end across the feeder teeth and it finally started to loop.

This sewing head is an exact copy of a Newlong sewing head. Comes with a full spare parts kit. Seems like a good machine. Update: After about a year of using this sewing head I haven't had any issues. This is after sewing several hundred bags.

I received this sawing machine who didn't work to begin with, the mechanics were faulty and wasn't able to use it. I returned it to the seller and I haven't received a refund yet, although the UPS tracking number provided to me a the time of the return states that the return has been received. Do yourself a favor and buy a good quality Singer instead of wasting your money.

I needed to re-stitch a mattress cover after cutting the mattress to custom fit a different shape. This thing is strong, durable and easy to use. Definitely able to handle strong thread from versatile positioning. Buy it.

I haven't used this yet and will update my review after I use it but wanted to let people know asap that they need to be very careful when using the product. Neither the machine or the supplied power cord are grounded and pose a potential electrical hazard. The machines ground terminal is not connected to anything and the power cord has a ground terminal on both ends but is in reality only a 2 wire cord. I'm not surprised in the least bit about any of this as it's from China and safety is not a concern for them... I will be properly grounding the machine and using a proper cord that can actually safely handle running the claimed 210w of power the machine uses. You definitely get what you pay for but I felt the need to write this review immediately so others that might not have any background in electrical safety could at least know what they are getting..

I bought this to bag some corn in paper bags. I didn't want to spend a ton of money because i was only looking to bag a couple hundred. I was surprised at quality of this sticher. It seems like decent quality an a value at the price. It even came with extra parts including a needle which was also unexpected. I would recommend this for smaller jobs. I don't think it's made to do 1000's of bags a day. I would buy it again.
