I'm giving this press five stars, with a caveat, which is that it isn't really good for trucker hats, and it's not ideal for heat transfer vinyl, because there's not a lot of space between the two platens. And even the larger platen is not quite big enough for a proper trucker hat pressing. But, as long as your pressing needs don't fit within those two buckets, if you're doing direct to film transfers, if you're doing dye sublimation transfers, you're going to be really happy with this press. It's just that the way the top platen moves up on the articulated arm, there's not a lot of space to begin with. So unless your transfer medium is taped down, could easily move. So that's the minus. But the plus, it's really compact, it's lightweight, it looks good, it works. So as long as it works for what you want it to do, top notch.

Great compact heat press! This is very easy to use and the value you get for your money is great! It is durable and has a little weight to it so that it does not fall over, but is easy to move and store. Very functional for hat pressing!

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love it! It is extremely easy to use, very light and small, which makes it easy to store. Additionally, it looks very cute. The display is very nice and easy to set up. It applies good pressure, at least for vinyl application. I haven't tried it yet with sublimation. I have never done hats before and this machine made it very easy. They came out great! Totally worth it!

Unfortunately, I had to return this. With no way to adjust the pressure, several of my foam/sublimation hats were ruined. I did all the things to attempt repair of crease left behind from hat press; tried mini hand iron, tried steaming, tried sticky-tape/lint remover, literally everything under the sun to remove crease. But alas, the pressure was too much and simply melted the crease into the hat (and yes I decreased time and temp- it’s how 12 hats were ruined.) Instead of 1-2 stars I gave this press 3 stars because I did like the ease of the digital board. It’s very user friendly. I also really liked the automatic rise/decent of the press. I think this hat press is best suited for patches on different caps/hats. I will be going back to an old school, pressure adjustable hat press.

Did not like this heat press at all, ruined my hats by putting creases in them. I don’t think anything automatic has amazing pressure. I think it could be good if it didn’t mess up the creases in the hat so much.
