I own 7 laser engravers and use them everyday. At first I thought the Vevor was a nice looking machine and was better quality. The controller board is an older type GrBL firmware, and machine speed is definitely not consistent. After a couple of months using it for light duty work, the laser unit started inconsistent burns, looked blurry, and lost it precision quality it used to have. Emailed seller for support, they keep demanding several videos of problem using an app I have never heard of to the country of China. I thought Vevor was based out of California, like their name says on the box I received it in. NEVER again will I purchase a product from Vevor. Their tools and equipment are about as good as Harbour Frieght crap. Good luck to anyone who purchases this..... oh ya, forgot to mention I bought a different brand laser module, installed it, and works just fine now.

I love this laser engraver, I love the price I got it for. What I don't love is that despite people saying how easy it is to set up straight out of the box, it isn't that easy. Not if you are new to engravers and not if you are not inclined to such things. The instructions are not clear enough that a novice will be able to just open the box and just go. There are little details that would need to be included for clarity and to ensure precision and accuracy and these are not present. I had to watch a few Youtube videos (most of which also assumed that you had prior engraver experience) and I had to also pull up pictures of the item on the internet to ensure I was positioning the pieces correctly. Once I got going however, the rest fell into place and it went well. My only other "issue" so far is working through the correct settings for different media. I am still testing different settings to get the results I am looking for as some of the preinstalled settings are not working for me. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and I would recommend this laser engraver.

It took me about an hour to setup. Watch your orientation. I provided two pictures to show orientation as the instructions are a little vague. Now I am learning Lightburn. Go to the Lightburn website and get a free 30 days. Watch their videos.

Not easy to assemble but thankfully YouTube came through step by step. Just put the front and sides in, leave far end off till complete.. program is super simple. Pick your laser watt and type (I use any type just 5w) pick material and go. Love it
