The velvet is soft and easy to clean. The polished gold is bright and clean. No pitting or tarnishing. We had no issues putting it together and it has stood up well for 4 months. The fit well under our counter and are the right height for our island. Priced right for 2 chairs. They have little feet that can be screwed in different directions to ensure the chairs are level.

These chair are perfect. True to height, comfortable but not plush, sturdy, the color is the same as the photos. They matched perfectly in my Kitchen. I have been using my steaming to keep them clean, so they still look new a year later.

The chairs arrived early and when I opened the box one of the four frames was defective. The two metal frames on each chair that touch the floor have threaded levelers so that you can make the chair sit even on the floor. One of the four frames included had no threads and no levelers so that one chair would have levelers on one side and not on the other, making it sit unevenly. I have contacted the seller and I certainly hope that they will either ship me a new frame with levelers or allow me to return the item at their cost. Other reviews comment that the return shipping was at their expense and the cost was equal to the cost of the item. I truly hope this is not the case. If it is, Amazon should prevent this seller from listing this item. Repeated negative reviews should be enough to have them removed.

Very nice, durable stools. But you will need a high bar for the stools to fit under the bar, but durable, sold to another owner for a new home and decore.
