I am 5'3 250lbs and purchased a 4x plus. Skirts never fit I always have to alter them either in length or width. This skirt fit perfect, when I started to pull it on I thought it was going to be to small but it fit and was very flattering. No pockets to bulge out. And it fell just above my ankel and most importantly didn't hike up in the back at the hemline because the material has a nice stretch. I immediately ordered the cranberry one and would have ordered the pink but it was out of stock in my size. The material stretches and it is not transparent. Happy, happy! I rarely due reviews but this is for those plus size women out there that can't find a long flattering skirt. Merry Christmas!

This skirt is super cute. The material has stretch and is a light to medium weight fabric and comfortable to wear. It’s perfect for work attire. It is long so if you’re a shortie like me at 5’4”, this will come pretty close to your ankles. This is nothing hemming the bottom can’t fix to get a length you like it. For the price, this alternation wasn’t a biggie. I can sew and did it myself but you can’t, this is an inexpensive alteration to get done at a dry cleaners or elsewhere. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for needing some alterations to get the fit I needed and wanted. We already talked about gemming it (but hey, if you’re tall, that’s no concern for you) and there are 2 other alterations I had to do to get the skirt just right for me. If I’ve still got your attention, tune in below: 1) There is not a vent in the back of the skirt. -_- And with a skirt this long, it really needs one because, without it, it limits your range of walking and ability to comfortably climb stairs. Can we say unintentional, resistance training? Lol. Luckily, I know how to sew and I put a vent in mine. No more penguin walking for me. 2) If you are curvy, the waistband may gap in the back for you. If you have a flatter butt, this may not be an issue, however if you have a booty, you’ve been warned. Lol. My waist is 25.5” while my hips are 40” and I have booty. I couldn’t have gone any smaller in size or the skirt wouldn’t accommodate my hips and booty. Again, I can sew, so I took the waistband in which is a super quick and easy alteration. It’s a fairly inexpensive alteration if you cannot sew yourself. All in all, I really like this skirt and want to buy more colors/styles but I have to make those alternations to make it fit me how I want on me. So for me, this isn’t a ready to wear skirt but for the price, those small alterations aren’t a hindrance. Hope this review helps someone!

I bought this skirt to wear for my daughter and I to take Christmas pics and it flowed so well! I had gotten her a plaid shirt a while ago and wanted to match it but I couldn't find the same pattern in the same or even close colors so I decided to go with this to at least give me the same main color and some squares...who likes to be too matchy anyway right! But it worked out very nicely! These skirts fit true to size, I normally wear a large but I was afraid it would be too tight and got XL, it was a bit loose but that was my fault so it still gets 5 stars!

I bought this for my Halloween costume, I wanted to go as a Slytherin but being a middle aged mom, I didn't want to do the school girl look. I had bought this thinking it would be a pencil skirt, but it hits mid calf (I'm 5'10") and doesn't have a slit or kick pleat, so it's difficult to walk normally in. It requires small steps. Technically this style of skirt is referred to as a "hobble skirt". I ended up pulling it up and a tube dress which looked great with my sweater. Without the sweater it would have required some tailoring since it has no darts to taper in the waist, so as a tube dress there is as little bagginess at the waist. It worked for my costume though, and I can easily have it shortened to knee length or right below or add a kick pleat. Options if you are willing to sew or have it altered.

I bought mine a size smaller than I would typically buy. I saw a video review with a woman showing hers off and it looked far too loose on her. Not the way a pencil bodycon skirt should look. So I took a chance and bought it in a medium instead of the large. It fits like I want it to. My only complaint it is very thin. However, I still may buy another color.
