  • To me a perfect keyboard. Feels very familiar.
Style: Wired Keyboard
I really like this keyboard. Works exactly like my old one. This one I will keep covered in plastic while eat ! I wasn't willing to take all the keys off the other one to clean it. So glad this one is almost identical to my old one; I am already use to it.

  • Ok keyboard
Style: Wired Keyboard
Needed a keyboard quickly. For the price point it’s ok. Tying ease is ok. Quality is ok for the price point.

  • What's not to like?
Style: Wired Keyboard
My iMac began behaving as though it had been invaded by an army of Russians, replete with automated weaponry that changed the titles of all my files even as I watched the carnage unfold on the battlefield that once had been an orderly, stable desktop. Worse, I saw the damage repeated (and consequently doubled) upon moving from my iMac to my laptop (a Mac Air), thanks to iCloud and its provisions for coordinating all Apple devices (even my iPod Touch, which presently appears to be the end of the line for the wondrous device that, far more than any smartphone, hooked me on Apple products). After using a couple of antivirus programs and trashing every suspicious foreign body, I noticed that my Miracle keyboard was in mortal danger of losing all connection with the iMac and screen. So I borrowed my wife's wired Apple keyboard--and voila! law and order (not to mention my sanity) was restored. I'm not certain about the cause, but the effect can be brutal--not simply a disconnect between keyboard and machine but, in effect, a license that confers upon the machine freedom to freak out, mutiny, do whatever it pleases. A lesson hard-learned (and I have yet to assess all the irreversible damage). As to the cause--I'm still not sure. At first, I blamed Spectrum, our internet provider. Next, I shifted the blame to Apple's Airport, then our modem, and finally to the iPhone 8, which supplied the hot spot I used in the absence of the flawed internet connection provided by Spectrum (at a considerable fee). But the most likely culprit is Mr. Clean, or my ignorance about his strength. My keys were gummed up and darkened by the dirt and grime acquired over the past year or two, so I used the product at full strength, spraying it on the keys prior to wiping its collective residue onto a paper towel. Apparently the Apple wireless keyboard is susceptible to shorting out when scrubbed down by household cleaners as indiscriminately pedestrian as Mr. Clean, and it behaved like innocense violated and therefore set on a course of merciless retribution. I was prepared to shell out another hundred for another keyboard. (Wouldn't be the first time. But in recent years I've been fortunate to find far less expensive but equally effective alternatives to Apple "imminent disasters" like the SuperDrive (which would inevitably eat one disc too many) and the 45 Watt Power Adapter for the Mac Air (Magsafe 1 and Magsafe 2), T-shaped vs. L-shaped (more desireable), and now the Type C adapter for the new "portless" Macbook. But why pay close to a hundred when less than $7 will bring one of these to your doorstep? The Verbatim was instantly seen by my machine even when I connected it to a hub. It's 40% longer than the one it replaces, but it has close to 40% more keys. No directions were included, but it works without them. The keys on the Apple keyboard are less deep and soft and therefore a bit faster, more responsive and user-friendly. No doubt I'll go back to an Apple keyboard eventually. In the meantime, this is the best back-up catcher I could have hoped for, esp. for under $7. (I've since noticed that Verbatim offers this model in white--but presently for almost twice the price. Moreover, it was the gunk displayed so prominently on my white keys that triggered my unfortunate iMac massacre.) Black is suddenly looking pretty good to me. ... show more

  • not recharchable- funky Enter key
Style: Wireless Keyboard
this basic keyboard shipped quickly and was reasonably priced. It is not super heavy or solid but works well. It included a AAA battery and there's not on/off switch. So you will need to keep a backup battery handy, as this is not a plug in rechargeble keyboard. ALSO the ENTER key is further to the right by one key space that my other keyboards. Instead of being two keys over, my pinky must reach 3 spaces over, so I'm often having to backspace to correct typing a "\" instead of pressing Enter. ... show more
