I bought this to use as a small coop/chicken shed. It’s way cheaper than an actual coop and has been “chicken tight” (none have escaped) for a few weeks now. We did cut a hole in it. Construction isn’t simple but it went up well. I set it on some 2x4’s for stability. You get what you pay for but it is perfectly serviceable.

As others have mentioned, the plastic film is a time consuming nightmare to remove, so I ended up just leaving it on. Maybe the sun will help loosen it up next summer. I tried a heat gun and everything, but it's like peeling sunburn. Just when you think you get a big piece, it rips off in a small piece. Every once in a while I got lucky and got a larger piece off, but it never comes off completely. So I gave up after one panel. Next, buy a bag of short self tapping stainless steel screws. Many holes just don't line up if you want to keep panels straight and true - more so on the roof panels. So the easiest fix was to tap in thriugh the pre drilled panel holes and make my own frame holes in areas that didn't line up, rather than have a panel off center. Side panels go on fairly easy, but a tip I learned is to install the screw/nut combo in the middle of each panel first, then the sheet metal screws to the frame top and bottom. If you do it the other way, you will have a hard time getting the holes for the screw/nut combos to line up between panels. Use the video and pause at each step. Much better than the paper instructions. Double check your front cross beams direction. If you install in wrong direction, even though all the panel holes line up, your door stop holes won't and you'll have to disassemble to flip it around so your left door lock holes are in the right spot. Ask me how I know. The directions don't tell you this and even though it's a "I should have thought of that" moment, I didn't. I don't like that the completed design leaves a ton of openings for insects to call home, especially the top roof vent. Wasp nest heaven. I may be going around with window screen next summer to cover all the openings into the structure itself. Overall it's much sturdier than I expected given the thickness of the metal. I did use adhesive at every panel join seam. I also ran metal roof screws along the center of the roof panels on both sides, as they aren't secured to the internal cross beams - they just rest on them. I found that odd and not secure. They are secured to the center top beam and the side frames but not in the middle. Maybe I overengineered it but better safe than sorry.

I'm mechanically inclined. I used to be paid to put together bikes and furniture, so I'm used to crappy manuals. This one takes the cake, take your time, and check if you can with the picture and make sure all the holes on the image are where they are on your building. I also used the video on the page, and that helped out a lot, but there was also errors with that. When it came to the doors, you get one image and 15 things going on. The video helped out, but wow. The building appears quite sturdy and it took about over 8 hours. The doors took way too long. Some of the holes don't align very well, you will need to move them around if you can.

As DIY assembly of a building goes, this was fairly easy to put together. I had the help of 1 friend and it took us about 4 hours. I'm not particularly handy, but it was not frustrating and a fairly pleasant experience. I live in Florida, so not sure how it will stand up to hurricanes, but I have it up against the fence and hoping for the best. We did lay a good foundation with cement pavers (the flat 12x12x1/5" ones) at the ends and across the middle. Then we put down a plywood floor and bolted it down all along the perimeter to the floor. I read the reviews about the horrible peeling of the plastic sheath. IDK if I'll regret it, but I didn't bother; just left it on. You can't even tell unless you look really closely. If it peels, that won't bother me either. I figure it's an extra layer of protection from rust. Anyway, it holds all I intended for it to hold and I'm happy with it. I chose the doors that swing open because I've heard a lot of complaints about the sliding doors sticking, etc. I'll try to remember to update after hurricane season!

The building is a very nice building , it doesn’t have a floor in it so you will have to put plywood down in it. And take time because it has a zillion screws and bolts and took abt 6 hours to put it together. I love it though…. We use it at our camper to store our floats and chairs when we aren’t there.
