This is a very well designed and attractive planter box. Easy to assemble. I'm using mine to hold vining plants in front of the trellis I wish to cover with black-eyed Susans. It comes ready to be used as a window box, as well, with a place for supports. It also has optional plugs to close the drainage holes, if that is your preference. Heavy duty and well-built. You get what you pay for and these boxes are worth every penny!! So well made and great drainage. Each box is actually 2 pieces - the planting one fits inside the other. I'm guessing it will help keep the soil cooler and not dry out as quickly, along with helping it not get overly wet. Too early to plant yet here in New England but am very much looking forward to having beautiful boxes on our deck all summer long. Very classy looking - I got the black to go with the HFHOME Adjustable Planter Brackets I also bought here on Amazon and reviewed. Worked wonderfully with these boxes. The boxes are quite heavy so since we were hanging them off narrow deck rails, we bought 3 brackets for each box - for both sides and the middle. Great, sturdy setup that I believe will last for years. Highly recommend!

Quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. Love how they are well insulated, gave the extra plugs, design well thought out. I use mine for my large bay window to keep my large dog from jumping up there, I've been so scared she was going to bust the window and hurt herself. This solves the issue , sits up against the window frame instead of the glass window itself to prevent the window from getting accidentally pushed on. Growing a bunch of different herbs in it. Thx for the great planter box ! I wouldn't change anything about it at all. The fact it came in a pack of two was kinda neat, I gave one to my daughter as she likes to garden too.

I've had these planters for a full season now and am really happy with so far! Pros: They're sizeable and definitely hold a lot of planting material! I've purchased the white boxes. I cannot confirm if the black/grey planters hold color or fade, but the white do easily wipe clean. The PVC is thick and high-quality; I can tell they will last a lifetime and not easily crack. Cons: The only reason I'm not rating 5 star is that for the price I would have liked to see a self-watering system included. Also, there is no way to attach the planters' base to protect against theft or prevent accidental tipping. Since I'm displaying on a wooden shelf on the exterior of my house I just drilled two bolts through the exterior box then added the inside liner.

The boxes are great but they do not come with brackets to hang them. They are sold separately and are very expensive! The brackets cost as much as the boxes. Crazy!!
