This duvet set is really pretty, and I love green so it’s the perfect shade of green. The velvet is super soft and I haven’t noticed my cats claws pulling up the fibers or anything so that’s a plus for durability. The only drawback is that it’s missing two ties. Just a small thing.. but it drives me crazy to the point I might sew two ties into it. It has three along the top and three along the bottom but no middle tie on the two sides. That extra tie makes a WORLD of difference when you’re a restless sleeper to keep the duvet from sliding around in the cover. ... show more

I had been wanting to update my duvet cover and pillow cases for a while now but kept putting it off. This set in green popped up and is PERFECT. I love the color, it's incredibly soft and it is slightly heavy which helps make it feel like I'm sleeping with a weighted blanket. The only downside is that the wrinkles are VERY obvious on it. A quick wash and tumble dry helped to smooth them out a bit. I have two cats that LOVE to knead everything when they're being pet. My last duvet cover was cotton and there were snags in it all over. For whatever reason my cats don't even attempt to dig their claws into my velvet couch, so that was one more reason I opted for this velvet set. Just got this duvet. It’s beautiful and I like the fabric. It has 4 corner ties and 4 side ties which is a great idea to keep the duvet in place. There is a zipper closure, also a great idea. However, the sipper is of poor quality and is hard to use. It gets stuck along the way and the tab feels like it’ll break off any second. Reason for only 3 stars. ... show more

The color is just what I had hoped for, beautiful mossy green. The zipper seemed sturdy enough for me. The fabric is soft and velvety. We’ll see how it stands up to my dogs claws, but the price is reasonable and I would buy again.

I was initially disappointed in the color of this duvet, as I was hoping for a darker deeper purple and this is more of a lighter lilac color. But the quality and softness of it is so wonderful that I decided to layer it over a darker plum colored duvet and now I love it! The zipper closure is super convenient and it has several ties to keep it secure. I love the softness of the velvet and curling up under this thing is divine! I did have to iron it quiet a bit to get the wrinkles out from the packaging (they didn’t come out when I washed it) but it looked so high end and luxurious after I ironed it and put a comforter inside. I opted for a thinner, lighter comforter insert as the velvet will be too hot for me otherwise, but I can imagine it would be even more luxurious with a thicker insert. ... show more
