There is something about this bag that speaks to me. I love the Purple Rhapsody color on the outside and really love the fabric chosen for the inside. I don’t think the new original small tote bag is as practical as the older style tote (and for the larger totes I think this is a big problem) but for the smaller tote I think this bag is still something worth carrying. It is deeper than the previous small tote bags and instead of having pockets around the inside for storage it only has two pockets and a larger zip pocket. So to me it is a different bag altogether. I think there is a place for both small tote designs in the Vera Bradly lineup, but that is just me. Cons: The original small tote is less secure, has less organization, is less sturdy, doesn’t zip as compared to the previous version of the tote. Pros: It is really nice looking and as long as not trying to organize too much will be fun to carry. Also have in Peacoat which is also nice. (Peacoat shown next to large tote.) ... show more

I have no complaints. I bought this because my current purse doesn’t fit everything right now, esp with needing a hat and gloves on me during the winter! It’s a really good size for daily use. It appears to be good quality. The purple print is kinda darker in person. I love it and recommend. I paid $34 with the discount, $14 less than on Vera Bradley’s website! I think this is one of my favorite Vera Bradley pieces, as I have had many throughout my life. The thing about Vera Bradley is that the design seems so simple- yet it's not- there is still a lot going on- whether it's on the fabric or with how the style of the purse is- and what you can carry with it.
