I love my heated jackets! I had one for years that recently stopped working so I purchased 2 more jackets. Both came quickly and work phenomenally. I did have one issue with one of the batteries it came with that wasn't making a connection with the jacket to turn it on. I reached out to Venustas directly via email and explained what was happening with the battery. They were very responsive and helpful! They simply, and understandably, asked that I send a short video to show what the battery was doing. Once I did that, they verified my shipping information and got a new battery sent out right away. This was a gamble that paid off. The jacket is definitely well designed and fits perfectly. The battery lasts longer than I expected and “seals” in your body temperature even when you’re not using the heating element. On the highest setting there is no “burn” feeling just a comfortable overall warmth. You don’t even notice that you’re carrying a battery pack when you’re wearing. I love this jacket!!! Nice deep pockets including a chest pocket. The battery is in a very comfortable spot, can't even tell it's there. The cut makes me look thinner than I really am. I love the material. The jacket itself is extremely warm and comfy. Add the heat for extremely cold days.

12/15/20 Update - the heating element on my jacket stopped working roughly 1 month after purchasing. I have 2 batteries that are fully charged yet it won't even turn on. Waiting to hear from Venustas about this issue. I received this item last week. I work for the USPS where I walk outside roughly 15 miles per day in the elements in Northern Indiana. I'll start by saying that the coat looks great. Everything about it looks like it should cost $150 and the materials feel very high quality as well as it being very modern and stylish. If this were a jacket that had "North Face" stamped on it I could easily see people buying it at this price without the heating element. The Jacket is made of water resistant material. I've found through using it in the rain that if it is a light rain everything will roll off the jacket. But if it is raining heavily rain will penetrate the jacket and you will need to wear a rain coat over it you are outside for a prolonged periods of time. The button on the jacket you use to turn it on also looks just damn cool when it's on especially at night. It's an LED circle that lights up either blue, white or red depending on the heat setting you choose. If you are buying this jacket and plan on only using the heating element 3-4 hours or less on the lowest heat setting before recharging it then this is a great heated jacket for you. Even on the lowest setting you really can feel the warmth it creates. From testing it with two Venustas batteries I got about 3-4 hours of heat on the lowest setting, 2.5-3 hours on the medium setting and 1.5-2 hours on the highest heat setting. So if you are buying this jacket because the description says the heating element will last 9-11 hours on low and you want to have it turned on all day then be aware it lasts less than half that length and you will need to buy at least another battery to get 7+ hours from the heating feature even on the lowest setting. As I said, when the battery/heater was working it felt great. I wore just a shirt and the jacket so I didn't feel all heavy and bundled up, but still felt warm. It really allows you to move very quickly outside when it's working since you don't have to have all those layers on. So if you're buying this with the intention of only using it an hour or two then it's probably 5/5, but I bought it based on the claims that the battery would last all day on the low setting. I would have given this a 3.5/5, but the Venustas support team was 10/10 on communicating with me and responding to my issues so overall I'd give the jacket a 4/5. This will be a great heated jacket that is made of great materials and very stylish to many. But if you expect to buy this jacket with the single battery and have it heat you all day then this ain't it. ... show more

Great fitting jacket, works great keeping you warm. I normally wear a large or medium depending on the cut, this medium fit me perfectly. Had a small issue with fulfillment. Venustus took care of the problem quickly. Their customer service is outstanding, something you rarely see anymore.

I use this coat during long walks with our dog. I’ve worn it for a week now. Evaluating the coat itself, excluding its heating element functions, it seems to be an excellent coat. It is wind and water resistant, has a generous hood, sturdy zippers; it keeps my throat, neck and chin protected, is comfortable and attractive to wear, has good pockets and seems to be well constructed overall. The battery powered heat function seems to be inadequate for my needs. In my experience, with the heat function set to high temp and battery at full charge, the coat emits barely perceptible warmth; I find it does not produce enough heat for me to be truly warmed while outside walking (20-30 degree weather). I wonder now if it might have been wiser to buy the heated VEST and wear it under a good winter coat - perhaps then I would get the extra warmth I was hoping to find. ... show more
