First of all, the other competition, Apple iPad, Galaxy S7+ and others market a good product but in my opinion they are all just over priced. In these times where electronic devices are marketed as the latest and greatest but then upgrade before you can blink is just unaffordable. Well after an extensive search for a larger tablet, I came across the Venturer 14" Luna Max. Now at first, I was a bit skeptical because the price was so affordable. This Tablet sports a viable screen size of 13" x 8 3/16" and yes it auto rotates. Besides, it ships with a decent keyboard that magnetically attaches to the tablet effortlessly and it also comes with a stylus pen. I have been using my Luna Max for about one month and so far, it is well worth the purchase price. It ships with Android 10 O/S and supports two USB devices besides 1 HDMI port. Audio speakers are better than the average tablet. The battery specs rates the run time at 4.5 hours but I have only used 20% of battery power over 4-5 hours of use so that may vary for others. There is about a .5" base attached to the back that supports the stand and device ports. So over all, I really recommend this product to anyone looking to replace their small tablet for a bigger one. You can buy 4-5 of these tablets to one Apple iPad with similar specs. Definitely a Great Buy! ... show more

I reordered this tablet after returning the first one because of the charger issue. Did not work. The tablet was fine, the charger power supply was defective and would not charge. I returned it and ordered another one the next day and got it the same day. This is a good tablet, easy to set up. Love the keyboard right size. Picture quality is good. The service and return was great. I recommend this tablet/laptop to anyone looking for good tablet for the right price. ... show more

My adult daughter is developmentally disabled and has autism. They only thing that she can do independently and enjoys is watching Barney videos on Youtube using her touchscreen computer. For years, she used a 20" HP Slate with Android that was simple enough for her to swipe from video to video and use easily. After 8 years, the HP died in February. They do not make the same computer and no one makes an Android that size anymore so I purchased a 22" HP with Windows and that made her frustrated because it is not simple to use and she stopped using it. Then the behaviors started, she got depressed and even stopped eating. I have been trying everything, I have 5 different computers, used an android emulator, which froze often, tried dual booting, everything I could think of!!! The older Androids have older apps that she is used to but then Youtube wouldn't work on that old of system anymore :( I finally came across this and even though it isn't a 20", it isn't a 10" either and prayed it would work for her. It has worked out great for her!! I bought an adjustable stand to put it higher and with the handle in the back to prop it up, the set up works perfect for her. The Android 10 is new enough that it should work with apps for a long time and I ordered a second one as a back up in case I can't find this down the road. Like other reviews, PLEASE continue to make and sell this size!!! I am not kidding, this really is a life saver for my family, thank you!!!!! 🙏 FYI, the battery really does last 4 hours! The screen is clear, swiping works smoothly, you can set a screensaver and the speakers work well. The only issue I have with most computers these days is that you cannot get rid of the screen lock, in a perfect world for us, we need a screensaver with a no/never lock screen option with a larger touchscreen :) ... show more

Spring 2022 Update: Overall: POS, After less than a year: -Screen is waaaaaay too dim and scratches waaaaaay too easy -Slow as molasses, almost like the bad old early days of PC's when you got a cup of coffee to kill time before it responded -Nearly unrechargeable, battery percentage estimate 30% too optimistic, turns off below 40%, w/o warning and no setting to issue one, never reaches full charge, must always keep a/c connected, even so, charges VERY VERY slowly and only when being actively used(?!!!) -Battery "Optimizer" useless, no way to clear memory, close sleeping apps, clear memory hog apps -Built in Android 10 incompatible with lots and lots of apps, Chrome temporarily freezes, randomly -Keyboard: wound up permanently detaching each of 2 units w/i 1/2 year -You've been warned, stay away Good Ones: • large bright screen with adjustable angle stand, icons and fonts • flat, thin, light weight • large high contrast detachable multi-functional keyboard. it's magnetic! no wires, hinges, bluetooth... • keyboard has many, many functions, including Windows like shortcuts (CTRL-z,y,a,c,v, next word; Fn-end/begin of be; highlight word w/shift key, pg-up/dn, cursor up/dn line, tab...), specialized screen tools (brightness, audio vol, camera...), application shortcuts (un/split app view, map, calendar, browser...), and on/off on-screen keypad • optional stylus pen, screen off button... • self encasing, no slipon protectors or cases necessary, folds like a book Not so Greats: • the largeness of the display gives a little aspect distortion • screen is a major battery hog and may affect app usage and refresh time • keyboard can slip off and drop (like I did on first day.
