Love this light! There are a selection of colors to pick from, as well as some modes that transition through each color. I haven't noticed any extra heat from putting it on either. This is how the console should've came from Microsoft.

This stand is pretty, super bright (although you can change the settings) and very easy to use. You can change the colors and the brightness. It plugs in the back of your Xbox buuuut. There’s just one issue I have. I turn off the light and my Xbox at night.. but for some reason in the middle of me sleeping the light randomly turns on. And burns my eye balls in the middle of my slumber. So unless you can sleep with lights on maybe it won’t bother you but I did scare me lol.

This stand is very cool, however, a revision is sorely needed for it to be better. Like most people that have purchased this have said, the controls and and extended connections should be in the front rather than the back. It’s annoying reaching over to the back to turn the base off and on. Additionally, the company states that there is a way for you to control the turn on and off feature by way of the console yet they don’t explain how to do it not even on the product online guide. So for now mine turns on when I turn the Xbox on but does not turn off when I turn the Xbox off, I have to then reach towards the back to manually turn it off; this inconvenience would be solve by just moving the controls to the front or front side of the stand. Problem solve! Other than that, I do like it and creates enough lighting to give the console a cool RGB look. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have some sort of diffuser element on the RGB lights or on the sides edged of the stand that enclose the console. The LEDs when turned on high or low can be seen from many angles making this stand appear a bit home made. Only way to avoid this is to put the console high enough so that you don’t see the LEDs on the bottom of the stand. Maybe the sides could have been closer to the console or the LEDs could have been covered with frosted plastic so they don’t look like I just home modded a plastic stand and put a strip of LEDs to make it work. I like that you can change the color, only 7 options and there is a option to cycle through all 7 colors to enjoy instead of just having a single color show. It's great it has an extra USB port to use as it takes up one of the Series X's USB ports. I plugged my quick charging stand into it. It also has a USB-C port, which I'm not sure what to use it for as most Xbox devices/peripherals use a normal USB. Would have been practical to make it another USB port.

This product is a sham. Connects to USB on back of unit and does not turn off when the XBox is turned off. Have to manually press the power button on the back (not front where it's most common to put the button) of the light stand which is awkward. Says something in the description where you have to change the USB controls to go into "standby" which will shut the light stand off when XBox is turned off but I could not find anything in the Xbox Series X's control panel on editing it's USB ports. Again....sham. Unit also likes to turn itself on at random times even though the XBox is off. So that's annoying passing through a dark room @ 3 in the morning to see this stupid thing brightly lit up. Does not keep your brightness setting either. When you turn it off and on, it defaults to the highest brightness setting. What??? One last thing, there is a 1/4" gap between Xbox itself and the light stand and all you can see is the light strip at the bottom. The lights don't shoot up "engulfing" your Xbox like in the pictures. Barely shines up and seeing the LED strip is annoying. Don't bother with this item....it's not functional and doesn't shine as in the pictures. UPDATE: Ripped the usb cord out of the unit and threw in trash. Done. With. This. Product.
