This took some time to get ready to be able to install. We will share some ideas that helped us throughout this process, hoping others will also experience that same results we have. We had to clear some brush, level some ground, and figure out how to allow for a slight downhill grade so any runoff would keep on moving away from this and the adjacent structure. We also pre-sourced a really bomber tie down kit that augers into the go round (designed to secure sheds or mobile homes) to make as certain as we could that we had the stoutest structural connection possible. You may think that’s overkill, we just wanted to make sure. That said, this was put up by some not so young people, so it might have taken longer than it may take others, but we kept moving and were highly impressed throughout the process, not only at how how strong and heavy duty it was designed to be, but also how well manufactured it was to meet those design standards. The frame is very stout and strong. Fully closeable ( as well as being able to be secured open fr moving air) the screened openings keep even the small insects out! It measures exactly as stated in the listing. we could fit more than one vehicle, or one plus a trailer, or a number of carts, numerous pcs of equipment or empty it out and have enough room for an 8’ pool and quite a few people. Amazing. we could even work “inside” in cold weather. You might even look into fittings to attach stovepipe through tent walls, because some people even use small wood stoves in tents and teepees. It’s important to mention this thing is in no way lightweight. Definitely be prepared to recieve it when it is supposed to be delivered. The lovely lady who brought it to us needed help and it took more than one of us to help her. have a wagon, a trailer or an industrial handcart or dolly. This is BIG! It’s heavy because it is incredibly sturdily made. Thinking ahead is also important, instead of putting this up out in the open, we erected it next to a building so it had a sort of built in wind break, to keep it somewhat sheltered that way and are much happier with the outcome than if it had been out in the open, but that’s us. We were fortunate enough to have a 15’ wide roll of very thick road underlayment, a Kevlar version of landscaping fabric that we put on the ground and secured with hammer-in landscaping fabric staples.. so that once the garage is set up, we aren’t tracing dirt around inside. We put a wide strip of indoor outdoor carpet across the front inside edge, so when you walk across that your feet are cleaned before walking any further. we would never have gone to these lengths if the structure wasn’t as well made as it is, so that should help represent our confidence it its quality. This is a high quality structure and a great value. We looked before ordering and understood that there are replacement covers made for garages this size ( just in case the need ever arises, like checking to find filters before you order an air purifier, just thinking ahead.) We are very satisfied and highly suggest this build! Great solution!

The first thing I noticed when putting it up was the quality of the galvanized frame—the metal tubes are notably thick, and every connection felt substantial and secure, not flimsy at all. The entire structure stands quite tall and provides ample space to easily maneuver my truck in and out, fitting exactly as I had hoped it would. What truly impressed me is the tarp material, which is heavy duty, feeling both waterproof and UV protective to the touch. The strong ground anchoring system and wind ropes keep it firmly planted, making it a reliable outdoor shield against heavy rain and sun. This portable garage is a well made, practical application that protects my vehicle and offers extra usable storage space. It is a solid investment for anyone needing quick, sturdy outdoor coverage

This carport is a great size, for us it’s dedication is not for housing a car, as much as it is a storage location. So my review is based off of that experience, and performance expectations. Set up is very easy, definitely recommend at least two people, but I think if you really get down to it, you could probably do it by yourself. There are numbered pipes going from one to three and the instructions layout clearly what number goes where. I was pleasantly surprised to see that everything is a snap button and does not require any bolts apart from the feet I will say, however, the bag containing the nuts and bolts was ripped, and consequently spilled out inside of the box, we were missing a few because of this. After setting up the very sturdy and heavy duty, steel frame, my wife was able to hang all of the walls and attach the roof by herself with a simple step ladder, it is really just that easy. Everything is secured with bungee ball straps, and a simple process. The roof line has a flap which continues down over the seam, where the pipe is, that was my concern, but they have you covered with this and you do not have to worry about Water coming in. The windows are really large windows with mosquito netting, though the mosquitoes will get in through all the cracks at the corners, the netting is fine to tame the wind. Now about wind … just bear in mind, they provide four very small anchors, and I mean very small, they provide 47 foot long ropes, and enough steaks to drive to for every foot of the structure, touching the ground. Do I think all of this is enough? Absolutely not if you live anywhere on the western side of the United States, especially the south western side of the United States, where wind is a daily factor, this thing will not stay put. Why will it not stay put in high winds? It’s the size of a house! I strongly recommend upgrading to larger earth anchors, and putting them every 4 to 6 feet if you intend on this thing staying in high winds or for long periods of time. We added several braces and anchored it permanently to the ground and I am happy to say it did absolutely fine and sustained 30 mile an hour winds. Very happy with our purchase as the skeleton of the structure is a great platform to turn this into a shop one day given that the pipes are very substantial galvanized steel pipes.

It is big enough for what I need but the design isn't great. The corners allow winds and precip in. The anchors it comes with don't seem very strong so I replaced them with some that were bigger. It got blown away last night, it was anchored down, so it might be good for areas that don't get high winds, but not good for where I live in KS.
