I considered myself to have pretty long lashes that just went blonde at the end. So I used mascara to turn that end black and show off my length. But I would sacrifice lashes by adding chunky volume which looked overdone for daily wear and my career. It meant my mascara came off daily with just face wash easily, but I would lose the occasional lash and it took time to apply. And I curled my lashes daily to show off the length I had. But these photos don’t lie. This is applied directly to naked lashes WITHOUT curling. And believe me I’ve never gone a day without at least curling. Compare to my normal lashes! Bought this as an alternative to the Kevyn Aucoin volume mascara. My fault. It’s very flakey and hard to get any drama. I mainly use it now as my weekend mascara to the grocery store. I never saw any strengthening of my lashes after 6 weeks of use. It is nice and black and I do like the brush, but I won’t buy it again. I’ve been using the Pretty Big Deal Peptide & Tubing Mascara for about 4 weeks once a day, and I’ve noticed not only does it help grow my lashes but also strengthen them. I have sensitive skin and was nervous to try a new mascara since most mascara irritate my eyes. I had absolutely no issues changing brands, which is a first for me.
