I ordered the 2 X 8 foot , 1/8 “ carpet nonslip runner rug pad….well…I love the pad and yes it grips to my hardwood floor, but my issue is my carpet runner will not stay in place on the pad. My hall carpet runner shifts on the soft top of the Venken pad. Maybe if the Venken pad had some grippers on top of the pad as well as the bottom my hall carpet runner probably wouldn’t shift! Any recommendations on what can be used to hold my runner in place on top of the Venken pad? I’ve looked at carpet tapes, sticky corners, strips for rugs, but all that I see are made to adhere the carpet or pad directly to the floor ..I need something that will adhere to the back of my carpet runner and also adhere to the top surface of the Venken pad and keep my carpet runner in place.
