I needed a functional desk that didn't take up a huge amount of space, but made efficient use of the space that it had. This desk is so functional, versatile, and really makes the best use of available space. The elevated shelf on the back was a perfect place for two rather large monitor screens, while getting them off the desk top and leaving plenty of room for working space. The fact that the desk is height adjustable is a definite bonus. I can even put my walk pad underneath and walk while working. Assembly and assembly instructions were easy to follow and can easily be done by one person. All necessary tools were supplied (even some extra parts were provided). Excellent choice and easy to put together. It arrived banged up so I was a little worried, but it's packed so well there wasn't an issue. I could put my laptop up on the shelf but I prefer it next to me. It's slightly deeper than my last desk and that makes a huge difference... it's much more comfortable. The motor is quiet and smooth, no issues there. I also like that it has a back piece that you can attach cable management pieces to. It makes for a cleaner look. Easy to put together. Love the adjustable height. The fabric drawers are a nice feature. The two levels makes it easy to use with my monitors at the appropriate height.
