Budget, but not cheap
I'm no expert, but this item feels like a more quality barlow than the cheap plastic ones that are included in most scopes...

It works.
Works as it should, clear optics, great value, fits standard 1.25" focus mech.

Great, cheap barlow
I have a cheap travel scope. The lens has been great. I live in an area with a tremendous amount of light pollution and this barlow has been helpful to get great views of Saturn and the moon.

Works, no significant distortion I can see with terrestrial viewing anyway.
Works fine, does what a 2x Barlow does.

It has 3 uses!
This barlow has 3 uses! 1. You can put an eyepiece in it to magnify its power. 2. You can unscrew the lens at the bottom and use it on another eyepiece or Tring adapter. 3. You can slide a low profile eyepiece into the top and put into a DSLR if you have clearance. Though, it does create a vignette.

It works great!
No lens artifacts, is pretty light and the lens can unscrew giving me 1.5x. Very useful. The optical quality is amazing, with little effect on the initial view. Grants great views of Jupiter, saturn, and the moon, turning my 96x 0.66° fov view into a 182x 0.33° fov.
