Is a good option for entry level Barlow lens, price is very affordable, but don’t expect high image quality. Be aware that this Barlow has no thread to connect a filter.     • Very Versatile, Quality Optic
I have several Svbony eyepieces (Redline series) in my case, and this Barlow is the same high quality. I don't like having a zillion focal lengths in my eyepiece case, so I use Barlows to extend the utility of my eyepiece selection. This one is even more versatile because you can remove the lens from the body and screw it directly onto your eyepiece if it has standard filter threads. I can even attach it to the nosepiece of my diagonal! The T-Thread and brass compression ring are nice bonuses, too. ... show more

They're seemingly well made aesthetically speaking. I've used other Barlow lenses from other companies in the past; I didn't have any decrease in image brightness from a Televue. These do what they're supposed to but, not without sacrificing a large portion of light.
