I got this for our eclectus parrot. He’s about the size of an amazon or African grey parrot. I wanted one for inside of his cage, tho he’s only there at night. This has a nice amount of chain so it can be set lower. Nicely decorated on the sides. The one feature that is unique is the bottom. It’s not just a perch. It looks like a ladder. This gives any bird the ability to hold on better. Because it’s in the cage and new, I wanted it to feel more sturdy. Birds are funny about new items. I remember years ago putting a new toy in his cage and he refused to sleep there. So,I had to remove it and try later. Eventually he accepted it. Over all, I’d recommend this. Although if you have a larger bird, macaw or cockatoo who is a chewer,.. this might be chewable. It’s not one thick rod. The small parts might be a problem for large beaks & birds who Insist on munching everything to shreds! 👀 ... show more

What a cute swing for my chickens. It is in perfect condition. My chickens have not yet learned how to use the swing, but I have high hopes it will give them something extra to pay attention to and interest them.

After some getting used to, the chicks love using it to perch on. The material holding the swing is cheap but usable.

Not sturdy. Will rot easily in weather. Short hanging length. Not as expected for outdoors.

I bought this for my hens, it came looking exactly like advertised here and in only a couple of days so very quickly as well. Great condition and very cute! I cannot write a review based on quality because my chickens haven’t used it yet, they’re still in their brooding box and this is in their coop run. I really thought it was very cute. Our chickens wouldn’t go near it. Last week we came home from work and found one of our hens tangled and hanging upside down. My husband thought she was dead. He released her and held her to calm her down. Thank God she was fine. I cut the swing down and trashed it. ... show more

    • Baby Chicks New Toy
I purchased this to use for my baby chicks to use. I actually have their broader in a XL dog grate so this swing attaches perfectly to the metal top. The little chicks just love it. They can now work on balancing and roosting.
