Description

The KX-1 measures at just 5.2cm X 2.6cm X 4cm making it 40% smaller than our previous K-Series Model. Weighing just 69g, the KX-1 is also 20% lighter than our K-Series, making hands-free video capture easier than ever before. The KX-1 boasts excellent performance when capturing low-light footage, allowing you to shoot fantastic video even in fading light, increasing the length of your photoshoots. Recording at 4K, the KX-1 has a max bitrate of 58 Mbit/s. As well as settings great for hands-free video capture, the KX-1 also has settings to enable broadcast quality video capture for professional and prosumer use. Capturing perfect stills at 12MP, the KX-1 comes with a variety of photo modes. The Photo burst mode allows you to take up to 10 photos per second; ideal when trying to achieve the perfect action shot. Photo interval shooting allows you to continuously capture timed photos from 1-60 seconds, allowing you to capture a variety of your greatest action moments over a period of time. The KX-1 also features a built-in 1.8” LCD touch screen, allowing you to playback footage and change menu settings with ease. The LCD Screen can also be used as a viewfinder. Shipped in a rugged carry case perfect for travelling with your camera, the KX-1 box contents includes a waterproof case; enabling dives of up to 40m and has operational buttons for video control and photo capture underwater. Additional supplied accessories include a quick release frame for camera protection when not in the waterproof case, curved and flat adhesive mounts, USB cables, anti-fog inserts, lens cloth, decals and a product user manual. With a 60m wireless range, you can connect and pair with your smartphone whilst recording footage on your KX-1. The Free Muvi App (Available on Android and iOS) allows you to connect your K-Series camcorder wirelessly to your smartphone so that you can now stream videos your smartphone or tablet from your KX-1.

I purchased the Veho Muvi VCC-005-MUVI-NPNG MUVI HD several years ago. It has been a wonderful video camera for all my dive trips around the world..... Now for thier newest KX-2 NPNG camera. PRO's: Great photos and videos! CON's: 1) The included instruction manual is vague. 2) With camera set for 4K recording. The battery life is at best just under 2 hours. But, it is replaceable (if you can find a replacement. Veho website never has them in stock and not found anywhere else). 3) The water tight case doesn't come with any type of back-up for closure latch (the anti fogging pads that come with camera won't fit in water tight case). 4) Same goes for the quick release camera frame. 5) Veho customer service can be non-responsive when it comes to certain questions. 6) Now this one is a biggie. Their WiFi app, sucks! The app crashes "EVERY TIME" you try to use it! It just does not work! "DISCLAIMER" I originally purchased this camera on Amazon. But, when it arrived. It was missing several items/parts. An I had to return it and purchase from a local retailer (left for dive trip the day after receiving from Amazon). I don't blame amazon. As always Amazon took care of me! Circuit City was the seller and it was only fulfilled by Amazon. Veho and/or Circuit City should have inspected before shipping it. ... show more

I have used this camera extensively to film tennis matches and it has performed well. I hook up an external battery and have filmed up to 8 hours straight, using three cameras at a time. Could have gone longer. I understand the other reviewers comments though about the wi-fi, but it has since been fixed and works fine. I can't say about biking or boating or whatever, but for tennis, it's great. Picture is crystal clear and the lcd display on the back makes it easy to control. By way of full disclosure, I sell this camera as a package with my camera mount for tennis players at MyTennisTools.com and my customers find it is performing fine for them. The camera arrived in a slick case, all components present. User's manual is barebones and marginally helpful. I had problems with the battery charging. The only support option was to Email the company in England - which I did and three weeks later I have yet to hear from them. In spite of downloading the app, I am unable to sync my phone with the camera which makes using the camera much less efficient and practical. My impression is that this is a cheap 'knock-off' of the Go-Pro and a regrettable purchase. ... show more
