It's been a few months since I bought and assembled this for my girl, and wow, I could not be happier with my purchase. My cat loves it and uses it all the time, and it's made a noticeable difference in how often she tries to claw the furniture. When she wants space, she climbs to the top and watches instead of hiding under my bed. She feels safe up there. My ceilings are tall, so I had to use all of the included pieces. Assembly is simple, but it can be tricky, especially when you get up to the ceiling. You're gonna want a ladder, for sure. It does have a little bit of wiggle in it once it's up, but it's sturdy. I used treats to coax her all the way to the top when I first put it up, to show her that it was safe. The materials are natural and neutral, so it blends well into my living- more so than I thought it would. The overall footprint is actually pretty small. Again, I'm really happy with the tree. This is a solid cat tree. It was easy to assemble and the platforms are large, which I wanted. I am planning on switching out the top piece, though, because while it is fine for my kitten right now, it goes in weird (like a figure 8) on both the front and back, losing valuable laying space for when my kitten grows larger. ... show more

My cats like the floor to ceiling cat tree! They are large cats though and they cant lie down on the topmost upper shelf but they can sit there if they wish. I gave this product 4 stars bc of the small shelf sizing. If anything I would have liked the shelves to be larger to accommodate their size. Also to make sure the tree is sturdy, I’d recommend screwing the entire thing into the ceiling to a stud. This anchoring would ensure it doesn't budge when cats jump on and off. My ceiling is sloped to cathedral height and my handyman had to finagle it so that it stays secure to the ceiling at the shortest end of my ceiling. The tree took about 30-45 minutes to assemble and a ladder to anchor to the ceiling. Note: The package arrived quickly but it was incredibly heavy- I had to carry it up two flights of stairs. It was clearly marked “heavy” I like it alot and so do my two (orange male) cats! ... show more

My cats like to climb and stretch on the post, so I only put 2 of the shelves on it (I think it came with 5). I positioned them in the window so both cats can sit at once. Cats immediately took to it. It was easy to put together. They packaged it really well so each piece was in order of use as I pulled it out (aka the top was at the top all the way in order to the bottom) and so it took me no time to put together. *added 7/12: I bought a second one cause I’ve relented into my fate as a cat lady and after taking in a second kitten, another friend had taken in feral kittens so I thought “why not, let’s hit full capacity of dogs and kitties and be able to firmly say no for 15-20 years” i am adding the video including the second cat tower with the new kittens. Ive seen reviews annoyed they had to get a ladder: my ceiling is like 9’5”. I chose this product due to the height it could reach. I am 5’5”. Of course, I needed to get a ladder! Idk, people be buying stuff imagining a genie in a lamp included to pop out where they don’t have to do anything I guess. I digress, on behalf of my cats, this product is the jam. Meow meow meow. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this floor-to-ceiling cat tree was to assemble. The instructions were clear, all the parts fit together well, and I had it set up much faster than I expected. It looks nice in the space and takes up a lot less room. It was also easy to put together. The unfortunate thing is that my bigger cats can’t really enjoy it fully. My cats that are under 10 pounds can enjoy it but my cats over 10 can’t really lay down to sleep as comfortably.
